man, i use a logitech mx518 since 2006 and still works very well.

I used a ime 3.0 for a long time. Then I tried a mouse that has a much higher malfunction rate and realized I don't need to constantly deal with negative accel.

what do you mean by negative accel?

I turn around quickly and it doesn't turn all the way instead it stops moving and then starts moving again. If I move it very quickly it will malfunction to the point that it actually will stop and then moves the other way a little bit. If I move it slower it works perfectly fine.

Is the refreshrate 125 Hz? Because then the 3.0 has low malfunction speed. At 500 Hz it's very, very good, unless you use an insanely low sens, if I'm not mistaken.

No it is at 1000hz.

Well if you REALLY want one, you're going to have to order it from Europe or Asia, the ver.2 should arrive in the states but it might have a 3310 sensor so performance is firmware dependent.

I have had a mouse with a 3310 sensor and I really do not like the sensor.

Again, firmware dependent, most 4000dpi 3090 sensor mice supposedly have smoothing at least my g400s does and a lot of people reported other mice having the same issue though the alcor doesn't unless you use the newer firmwares.

Spawn shouldn't depending on the firmware, but you have voip bug which I don't know the details about and varying performance between firmwares(there are loads) and surfaces.

I don't know about the recon or whether it has smoothing or can be disabled by firmware or not.

The steelseries rival.I have the old steelseries engine 3 installers so I could try the firmwares but they all suck some even have a ton of bugs.

Yes the one you are talking about is not the oldest but it was the most responsive. But my dpi was changing every boot and would also randomly jump. So I could not use that one. The newer firmwares seem to even have consistency issues with tracking.

The zowie mice don't feel that good to me personally and definitely aren't worth that much in my eyes.

the CM spawn has pretty bad firmwares, so it doesn't deliver much good out of the A3090.

I got one myself, but would use the cheap Xornet which i also own, with A3050(on 500dpi only tho) over it.

i really loved the shape, but they both seemed pretty inconsistent to me.

i find xornet at 500dpi very(very) solid(depends on firmware too, i recommend FW. 55).

The registry tweak worked for me on 8.1, polls at 1000Mhz.

Did you managed to overclock all usb ports to 1000hz? any usefull link to achieve it?

Worked for me in 8.1...

Press Windows Key + X then click run, type regedit.exe and then press Enter.

Click Yes if the User Account Control dialog box is displayed.
Browse to the following folder:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers

*Note If the Layers key does not exist, right-click AppCompatFlags, click New, click Key, and then type Layers to create the key.

Right-click Layers, click New, click String Value, use:

C:\windows\explorer.exe

Press Enter.

Right-click the value, and then click Modify. In the Value data field, type/paste NoDTToDITMouseBatch, and then press Enter.

Click OK to confirm the change.

Open an elevated Command Prompt window. To do this, press Windows Key + X then click Command Prompt (Administrator).

Run the following command at an elevated command prompt:
Rundll32 apphelp.dll,ShimFlushCache

I had to reboot before the mouse apps showed 1000Mhz maximum.

yea, I used this method too at somepoint when i had win 8.1 it works flawlessly

I saw the Storm had two buttons on either side like I've been dreaming, then saw it was shittier than the SS Sensei. Why? Why can't there just be a DeathAdder not made by Razer with dual side buttons? Money is waiting.
