I have configs that change it to black or pink if the map makes it hard to see.

I do this with the hud so that it looks like crosshair 6 when set to a large size and gl_nearest or gl_nearest_mipmap_nearest is used, but with the default gl_linear_mipmap_linear.

Dunno - that's how it is. It's the one of the Q4 xhairs emsixteen made. But that's only for zooming, the thing in the middle is my normal xhair. I suppose I should have said that...

It's that way because he tried to copy the Q4 zoom crosshair, I just don't like those parts at all :)

Funnily enough, I did edit them out once a while back because I didn't think they needed to be there, but it felt wrong so I switched back. Don't know why that should be, but I had been using it for a long time before I edited it so maybe it was just coz I had got used to having them there. Either way it has never caused any problems.

But it looks cool.
