without my medication i wouldn't go outside and all these kinds of stuff, because of major anxiety/social anxiety/fear of the 'real' world/ and a bit of paranoia.

but with my medication i'm ok/good 75% of the time, i can go out without any problem, stay with my family without major drama, talk with other people with ease and so on...

but even with my medication i'm still playing thunderstruck 24/7 lol. Seems like meds can't work for everything :)

Stop playing quakelive 24/7 and make a cauncious effort of social interacting. It might be harder for you, but that's no excuse not to make the effort. no thats what they all say, i can tell you all the sympotms including being preoccupied with all the crap like staring at walls for hours or sitting at monitor not being able to click on buttons cause i think it feels bad. it really is bad condition. especially outside i think like every person going my way is going to kill me. and i had no treatment and i am 26 living with a parent who is probably half-autistic.

with my internet degree in mental disorders, that sounds more like schizophrenia + broken mind from shitty school and home conditions.

People had the wrong idea of me. Whenever I face people I simply go on full adrenaline mode. I hate it when they say go out and meet people, that's almost impossible in my case. I'm always confused in my head. I will be myself from now on and stop faking. People have simply no idea what happens in one others brain.

Nootropics can not really help out with autism, but it can help out with anxiety, verbal fluidity, mood etc. Most of them are very safe without much side effects, but still make your own research on any kind of substance.

i think maybe the reason that i ate mostly bread products my whole life cause my cooking skills are low. i think the reason for autims might be bad diet and eating too much prepared food. my family was poor whn iwas born and we ate very cheap stuff like flour products and bread, which might have caused it. also meditation might help i think yeah. but as far as i rememeber i had trouble speaking and was always preoccupied with non living objects like door handles and walls and stairs. i am not sure if cognitive therapy will work at all, its like being on drugs all the time. i think there is something in food that doesnt get digested proprely. it looks like either being poisoned by some food toxins from bad food over life time. i thought maybe there are drugs specific to geting out those food toxins affecting autism. there is also attention deficit disorder, like not paying attention to key things like people starting to talk to me being missed as unimportant. or if i start talking to them then it feels humiliating. which makes it very hard to make friends, i miss that key moment when they speak and then when i reply it feels random and awkward. it might be genetic though but i tend to think it has more to do with bad diet as i eat a lot of really bad cheap food.

Have you checked your levels at the hospital so you're not deficient in any vitamins or similar? sometimes something simple as being deficient in magnesium can fuck people up. Just to let you know, I'm not one to talk. I'm pretty sure I could ADD as well, but keep on putting it forward to get it diagnosed. The motivation is down to 0%. Could also be depression or both. But as said, a doctor will be the one best qualified to know these things. But giving other people advise is always so much more simple than to follow your own advise haha.

But yes, it's a start at least when it comes to the diet, do you have a job? that could help out a lot when it comes to making your own food and maybe leaving the house in the near future.

They can be bad yes, but they can also be good in other ways. It's not just black or white. http://maps.org/ have a lots of different studies when it comes to drugs and things like PTSD, bipolar, autism and so on.

But I do agree with you, do go one step at a time. But don't reject different meds or drugs too quickly but should be last way out.

I promise you from personal experience in working with hundreds of people edible cannabis would help you. I've helped people with PTSD schizophrenia etc, all simply by eating large amounts of great quality cannabis. Which helps to regulate nearly everything in the human body.

No i typed Eating cannabis would help to regulate nearly everything in his body. Cannabinoids regulate. Smoking will mostly only give you a temporary buzz witn minimal actual help. Eating is much more permanent.

For example, we had one guy that insisted on only vaporizing cannabis to coat the cancer in his lungs, because thc kills cancer cells when it comes in contact for an extended period of tme. His cancer was stopped in its tracks(stage four), but it wasnt untill we convinced him to eat about 300 of grams of hash oil in a couple months, that it all was coughed up soon after. Doctors in amazement.

After typing that, i realize thats regulation of an unrelated deisese, but still shows what it can do. My personal friend in Oregon could not go outside talk to people or hold any kind of normal job because of his PTSD. In no time he slowly reverted back to the personslity and light hearted banter i knew before the war...open and ready to take on the world job and all, very touching to say the least!

I don't believe in miracles i am who i am. i don't know how those nootropics interact with my medication but at this point i'm willing to try everything. Gluten intolerance? That shit is in everything these days. Your body cant digest it, so you effectively eat too little calories a day and miss out on vitamins and whatnot. Also causes damage to your intestines over time and slowly worsen symptoms. Just look up for a list of what you can and cant eat and see if it works; Or get a blood test at your docs office.

doctors spend over 10 years studying before being allowed to diagnose people, you spent a few hours on the internet. after that you self-diagnosed yourself with autism, something that renders 1000/1000 adults completely unable to tend to themselves. the ones that work independantly to a very small degree are still reliant on personal in most aspects of their lives.

im not denying that theres something wrong with you, but autism is not it. if you want to know what it is, you will have to visit a doctor.

Schizophrenia is a very complex condition, the only real hard evidence of schizophrenia is damage to the frontal lobe, if damage isn't visible, you have twenty or more personality disorders to get through. It's not the doctor, it's the complexity of the brain and the labels given.

Autism, on the other hand has a spectrum. Unlike Schizophrenic suffers, Autistic people seem "more in the part of reality shared by others" - this makes it a great start to begin with.
