This is how I play. Hold from the ctrl+ z/x + space from doom 2 and other old school games where ctrl was shoot. Around the HL1 days (pre cs even), I evolved to "asdf", but leaving my middle 2 fingers as strafe (just transposed from "zx" to "sd". F became primary attack, A became zoom or alt attack. Mouse buttons are still M1 +fwd M2 +back. I've tried WASD so many times - can't stand it. Maybe if I forced it on myself for like a month straight, but I'd go crazy.

Have you tried tox's config though, since it's mostly compatible with your current setup..

All what I want from his cfg are gfx settings, rail settings and lg settings. I had his cfg, but now I lost it. My disk died (lost everything). Had to buy a new one. Now I'm working on cfg I had before, but I didnt remember his rail lg and gfx settings. At his old cfg (2010) all settings are different.

Must be recent'ish. hitbeep 2, lightningstyle 4, so quake live at least.

Sensitivity is (assuming he still has is MS mouse at 400 dpi) 36cm/360. Lower than what he's had in older (2010) configs. This leads me to believe it's newer, since there was talk of him lowering his sensitivity and it fucking up his aim for awhile.

bs, in all his cfg he has 4.3 sensi with WMO since 2009 at least. Btw he is not a top beast with LG in QL regardless of what other people says about it. A good amount of CA players outaim his super slow LG action.

You should ask evil cfg if you want realy LG whore cfg btw or cypher. I think serious and h41 and other players of that caliber would agree, but do what is most comfortable for u careem :)

p0ni hits amazing LG, with 16 cm/360. Strenx hits amazing LG with 52 cm/360. Evil is about 32 cm/360, and in one of the ESR threads, it was mentioned that he has some crazy Kinzu accel on.

f0rest is a top, if not one of the most consistently top CS players with 21 cm/360. Neo is on strenx sensitivity.

Bottom line, who the fuck cares what sensitivity the great aimers use? I was simply using tox's sensitivity changes, along with what I've seen discussed about him lowering his sensitivity in late 2012 to put forth an opinion that this is his real config (edited out sensitivity).

That is all I was doing.

By the way, ask cypher if he thinks he can aim as well as evil or strenx. Prepare for rage :p

That was just an estimate based on his config and assuming he uses 400hz. So yeah, if he uses any modern mouse, it's probably 450hz, or 560hz for the kinzu set to 400. Anyways, it was just an example of the wide variety in sensitivities.
