I talked to the manager of the place as well, if a reasonaable amount of people show up (like 10 or something) they will probably let us have one of their screens. Otherwise we can just plug some laptops and gather around a free table.

Good luck - perhaps am going to re-initiate here the same in Berlin at the local Meltdown bar. My experience tho is that there is a strong focus on MOBA, RTS and Beat 'em up games. It was possible to arrange some QL tournaments there, but somehow the interest was quite low overall....

Shame really, as they are sponsoring probably one the favorites to win all 3 modes.

It would be well tedious to organize, since there is no QuakeCon QL-tournament schedule published yet. Let's be honest - It's summer! And there are plenty of other options to do, instead of sitting around and waiting and to give free promotion for something, a game, a developer team who doesn't give a damn.

Dunno - maybe some other Berlin ESR fellas feel like watching this together and then perhaps you might meet up there tho. For the community. Only for the community. So you are free to unite.
