too much driving around shooting bandits with your car when you run out of ammo and have to wait for other jobs

play it for a while, and its just the same as duke 3d etc from back in the day, the map`s just arn`t as open world type deal

and there is no finding as much money as you can for strippers

if you have the intelligence to set duke up in nVidia control panel, and don`t bother with that crappy geforce experience because duke aint supported

your settings should be all saved after, but then you can`t export them, or import them into geforce experience

you get to play with adaptive v-sync, duke will run at 2-300 fps without any sync

I don't mean to offend you but you seem quite particular about things.

nvidia driver installers suck, geforce experience only supports games that hame a profile setup in gameready drivers, you cannot add your own games, you still need the cp, then custom settings stop saving when you update drivers so have to do a full clean install with ddu

duke only has 2 graphic options in the games main menu

I honestly liked Forever and thought it was a good game on the most part.

Was it as good as I had've hoped for? No. But was it a bad game? Not by a long stretch.

Got Duke Nukem 3D instead in the 3D Realms Anthology pack (75% off, and damn all those childhood memories!). It comes ready-to-play with eduke32 and all the official(?) expansion packs along with a convenient graphical starter for the lazy people. I must say I was surprised how well it aged gameplay-wise but also the graphics scale nicely to full hd and run smoothly on 144hz. Plus it actually becomes a challenge if you crank up the difficulty setting.

Not at all, I am playing this over quake 1 sp atm. Doom 3, Quake 4, Rage etc are all okayish but nothing I would play a second time.

duke nukem forever has better secrets and cutscenes to go with them



have to find all the EGO things aswell and get all the steam achievements init

founds the fix to switch from fullscreen to window, window to full screen

go into control panel and disable windows aero theme, switch duke to full screen, and exit, restore your theme, and start duke back up, and it should start fullscreen like normal

if not change game resolution
