G100s simply doesn't have a huge malfunction speed, I think the Kinzu v3 might a higher one. It's possible you have a lower malfunction speed because it doesn't like your mousepad.

Also I think mine malfunctioned more when I had dust in the lens, so I would regularly turn it over and blow it out with canned air.

i have a Roccat Taito, usually it didn't gave problems with other mice


with Enotus i can hit 3.3 m/s with the G100S, 2.90 with the G300 and 4 with the Abyssus and 3.5 with the Kinzu v3


what is strange, is that the g300 in theory has a lower malfunction speed and still doesn't give me this kind of problem


and ffs, I'm quite an high senser, with my sens 360 means 13-16 cm that is definitely not low enough to create problems to this kind of sensor

are you using logitech gaming software (LGS) ? There are a few settings such as "pointer precision" accel and multiple profiles... good chance your settings for your mouse are not what you think they are

no no, i tend to avoid all kind of mouse-software

i simply hate that kind of stuff ;)


"mouse pointer precision" in windows is off, sensitivity is default (6, that should be 1:1 according to what I read)

You shouldn't have any problem with that sensitivity. I was using 1.3 sens @ 1000dpi and could make the flicks to rocket jump just fine.

The malfunction speed can greatly be affected by the surface you use the mouse on. Typically the QCK is an horrible mousepad with most mice for malfunction speed.
i would recommend the Ozone evo XXL ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ground-Extra-Large-Ga...B00II2LCBI ). You can cut it in half and have two.
This is the the one pad I had a hard time making the G100s malfunction on.

I think that the real problem is that Roccat Taito that is worn off...
I didn't recognize it, but I tried another mousepad I had, the QCK Mass, and with this my accuracy is greatly improved even with the Abyssus

I still didn't try the G100, but looking how better it's the Abyssus accuracy, I believe that the G100 will definitely be better at RJ.


I can't believe that a mousepad condition can make so much the difference in mouse tracking


The Roccat Taito isn't that much worn off, just the area below my wrist has lost some of his black and is a little whitish




I'm just wondering if I should buy a plastic mouse pad, it should last more and have less wear-tear.


And finally, I'm also quite an high-senser (14-16 cm for 360) so plastic should definitely help.
