i have razer kraken pro which is ~75€. Before that i had sennheiser pc151 which broke (bad wires).

with the kraken i can get "fake" 7.1 surround with the razer drivers, with improved basses and voice clarity.

if you hate razer, don't go for it, but if you don't mind razer, it's definitely a good headset for its price range. Better than my old sennheiser pc151 which was also ~70+€. I mean it's bigger and more comfortable for the ears, and it feels more solid, both the wires and the microphone which is retractible inside the headset.

I have razer electra and it's doing fine for me

lol that headset is REALLY F***ING bad, the bass is overblown to bizarre levels, the mids and the highs have a ton of distortion, the headphones signal bleed into the mic sometimes, the plastics are awful, the amazon/newegg reviews are awful.

Seriously are you deaf? have you ever tried PROPPER audio gear?

like shure or audiotechnica monitoring headphones, or high end open back headphones from akg or beyerdynamic?

For 75usd a the kingston hyperx cloud just DEMOLISH several times anything razer has ever done or will do.

Just don't buy GAYming one.

Lots of people say the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x has a great (maybe the best?) price-performance ratio.

The ATH-M50x is still one of the best price-performance. The new Sony MDR-1A is really really good as well but it's pricier.
Around 100€, the M50x is still probably the best today.

Really? Best buy for your buck are the Senheiser 280 HD Pro.

Just stay the fuck away from gaming audio as a main point. You will pay for non essential features, like RGB lighting, in stead of sound quality.

Audio Technica ATH-M40x , best value headphones ever, flat tuned so you can EQ stuff to your taste or leave without EQ for the pure experience. They also run fine off an ipad/tablet. M50x not worth the extra at all.

These 3 are direct competitors and everyone will have their opinion, but after trying all 3 I came to the conclusion the M40x was the most balanced,

P.S. You have to spend a ton of money to get a headset that sounds anything like as good as a pair of headphones, just get a mic separate )

Sennheiser HD 558 are good and if you spend a little more AKG Pro Audio K612PRO are very good.They are the only two I have tried that I would recommend for both music and games. If you were going to get them just for gaming I would recommend Audio Technica ATH-AD700X but the bass is a little light so I am not sure how they would be for electronic music. The sound stage on the akg and the audio technica heaphones I recommended are much better than the sennheiser in my opinion. The AD700X can be less comfortable than the other two I recommended but I didn't really have an issue with them.

Edit: If there is a lot of noise around you while you are gaming or listening to music my suggestions would be bad.

Yea should probably add to that seeing as you mention sound stage. Any of the ones I suggested are basically closed back monitoring headphones, with very little sound stage. I assumed the OP would want closed back but maybe they don't mind sound leaking.

I have both HD-380Pro and hd280 (one set at home, one at work) and they're actually quite similar, so I'd recommend the 280s since they're about half as expensive.

I get the impression they're quite high quality, but I'm guessing they're very uncomfortable compared to the 280s. For the price and the requirements you have, I'd still go with the 280s. You could message zoot and/or ddk because I think they used those 25s for casting at least a few times.
