Yes, but as I wrote, it includes the results against dropped out teams, which is OK in this case, in my opinion, because 2 lower teams dropped, but overall rules shouldn't include this. For example if deal with it would've dropped after 2 rounds, those 2 teams who suffered a loss against them would have a disadvantage.

It's a fact. Under preparation or inactivity can't be an excuse. Preparation & training should be the only way to be successful in any sport/activity. I still don't get it why the definiton of well prepared or being active would be a downgrade?! ROFL

Ok haven't been following the tdm scene since last qcon but can someone give me a recap?

102 have been the baddest asses of tdm for what, 3 years? Now they're on par with an hungarian national team of basically nonames?

This season latrommi and pavel played with cas and kenny - so not the original 102 lineup. No idea where 421 is or whats he doing - Cooller is playing only OverWatch.

just imagine 102 with latrommi fearzzz cooller and cas

that would be a god-like tdm team :D

no offence to kenny, 421 and pavel but imho they're not as good as latrommi fearzzz or cooller

ofc in tdm you have teamplay and each player has its own role in the game, which basically means that 421, while being relatively weak in combat skills, can still be a good support to the team

but still, latrommi is above everyone, fearzzz when onfire can be compared to latrommi, and cooller is cooller :D

pavel is basically good/very good at any gametype, but imho he's not top tier (he can be top5 or 3 at best)

latrommi is #1 @ TDM for quite a long time now, and he has a good mentality/behavior. Tbh imho he's on part with tox winz or linkin, if not better (@ TDM, not ctf or duel).

Cooller is playing only OverWatch.

lies ! :D I've seen him play quakelive duel @ his stream lately, but that's maybe because overwatch will only be available on the 24th of may ? :D
Who knows, i know cooller, i'm pretty sure that he wouldn't miss a quakecon, even just for fun.

He has the intelligence and the skill to compete in both games imho :)

I guess his mentality should be taken into account. Hes very experienced when it comes to important matches, and he strikes me as the leader type of guy.

But I think you are trying to point out that Pavel or 421 are not lesser players in TDM than cooler, right?

Yes. I agree on the psychological effect and how it benefits the team on stage, but as a TDMer he is the weakest of the main 102 lineup.

We need a rematch between REKT and DealWithIt. It was easily the best match up from division 1, but that's only one reason I'd like to see another Bo3. The other reason is that Gienon was lagging hard that day. Those who watched live should recall that the players decided (after 80 minutes) to play anyway despite the issues. The third reason is due to the format these seasons usually end in a very anti climatic way since the best of the best don't face off for superiority.

Last time we tried an unofficial showmatch between the top teams the matches were fantastic but the results were taken as an official result by admins and drama ensued between the captains of E4 and 102. There wasn't even money involved for the showmatch or the season preceding it! With that in mind maybe we shouldn't have an unofficial showmatch/rematch for the top div1 teams this season :(

...of course if both teams are willing we could always just arrange a friendly game for the fans ;)
