Does the stage show start at 6 pm or do the games start then?

The show starts then, however we have made improvements and should not have contests that interests the event attendees only on stream.

Apparently, releasing schedule info on some forum 2 weeks prior the event is the way to go :)

It's cool, we are working with the players. I have had a schedule for months. I gave the general times and days and really if you are into the event that is pretty standard for the last few years.

Honestly, I am waiting on a schedule from another event to coordinate with. So we aren't the only large event that week with an unreleased schedule. Thanks though!

That, and of course the reputation of having an unwatchable stream due to internet connection issues. When those get fixed nobody knows when what is on...
And the finals are always played 3 hours late due to their giveaway stuff being 'more important'.
They even removed the 2nd best part of the streams this year... as Carmack won't give any presentation :( (at least I guess he won't).

on road2qcon they said two streams will be running @ the same time which is nice
so many games missed in previous years!

We will have all three of them to cast the event, but we will have casting on one stream only. The other stream will have a secondary game streamed with no commentary.

cypher's going 100%?

Cypher is not going, he confirmed it on stream.

At this time he is still trying. We have two players that have conflicts and are still not 100% either direction. We are leaving them on the roster until it is clear they can not make it.

Well, everyone jumped on OW vagon where the money are thus they either don't attend, are not in shape or drop in the last minute. Should have been some ctf/tdm with duel as atleast two euro teams where going to be there and more duel players. Right now only two euro players will attend most likely and dahang just dropped so actually only rapha is good from US... sadly rapha or evil this year. Interesting for sure, but gonna be so much better if there where bunch of other good players. I still remember those years where a lot of players had a chance. :/

Yes, the planning of the OW ESL qualifier the same week as Quakecon was unfortunate. :/

No choice... they will be kicked from good teams(if we exclude the current qualies and tournament) from a game that have tons of money and future big tournaments. No go mate... those players are not good only at quake and will play where the real money are. Not to mention that blizzard are blizzard - atleast for a few years there will be big cash @ OW.

I don't think the participants are right.. If you look at the group stages there is other players there. E.g. Python

If you viewed it on a mobile browser you likely only saw the first column. Either rotate your phone or use a pc. :)

Yep :) asked him like year ago or so when his nick was namco_ he said ye he has 60hz and its fine xD i think hes 17-18 years old now.

I never used or tried any screen with a refresh rate above 60hz in my entire life lol am i missing something ?
