in cpma you don't want to give a chance whatsoever to the opponent of locking your base as they'll be able to rack up a few caps without too much problems...

The only problem about that is, the attackers can't know when the flag is where completely.

1) There is delay on our speach, so we wont tell instant (speed is high in CPMA as far as I know) where the flag is.

2) There is delay on GV/TS/Whatever.

3) People need to get where he is, from where they are, takes time.

Your method require no delay, and really good communication, not going to happend I think. 8)

chasing an attacker leaving your base @ 800 ups and you just starting up isn't really the most usefull thing a def can do.
chasing is only usefull when you have a very realistic chance of catching the efc, which means he shouldn't be on speed and you shouldn't bee too far away.
as for the coms; simple binds can do a lot of good, if some of the players are on mid (that's the best place to catach the efc on wcp9) a simple high or def binds can give them enough info to catch him

CTF is played 6v6 right? 3 defenders and 3 attackers? Let's assume one attacker got the enemy flag, as an fellow attacker I would try to guard him into capping, insted of camping the enemy base hoping he scores..

cpma ctf isnt the same as vq3 ctf as you have more armor (ya=100 ra=150 and no countdown) and more speed etc...
And of course you don't respawn with a rediculous 7dmg 100 ammo mg like in vq3 ctf.

Dude, read what I say, there is _delay_ on voice communication programs..

When people are moving around the map with 800+ ups that delay will make it inaccurate where people actually are.

Haven't tried that ventrillo, but BC there surely is a longer delay, and the quality of the sound is very bad with BC, so that's kinda out of the question.

But give me an url for that ventrillo and I'll give it a shot.

RW was the first I used, which clearly sucks in delay+quality, then we changed to BC, which is kinda the same, with a bit lower delay. We then changed to GV, which got a lot better quality than any of the 2.

Tried TS2 too, but it lags some people, so we went back to GV. Imo. BC (if you ARE talking Battlecom that is) sucks big compared to GV, if you have a non lagged dedicated server anyway.

EDIT: I'm not talking about LAN play either, I'm talking about the delay when used over teh big fancy internet.

just for ur information game voice is the same technology as battlecom... why u might ask ? microsoft bought up the battlecom technology to use in there voice programm... and i aint talking about playing on lans im talking about testing out wich voice proggy has the least delay on lan..... btw GV have sucky long delay cuz the shit microsoft added to battlecom tech.

I've had enough with the warp abuse i'm getting smacked to my face every single game because of my ISP fucking up, i had enough of all the member problems nDc has to face every single game. If you guys find it funny to scatter some more salt in an open wound be my guest. But it's not the noble thing to do at all.

It's a shame to see another clan losing my respect, next to QO after defaulting a game because of us having member problems. We tried as much as we could getting nDc back to the level we had before in activity, teamplay and skill, but i don't think it will be solved anymore.
