Aye :) Had it on a projector at a house a rented with some friends. Very nice for movies =) Shows how good DVDs look coming from a PC on av VGA connection instead of a DVD through a S-Video cable. Great for porn also ;)

HDTV is 100Hz witch is standard in USA, standard in Sweden (Europe to?) is 60 Hz :(

It's based on what frequency your electric current runs on, think EU is mainly 50Hz. Means that when you're watching TV, your TV flickers in phase with your ceiling lamps so you don't notice as much... and looks smoother.

ok, that might be correct :) I just know if you are going to buy an american ps2 (or other console) you have to use an HDTV to be able to play, because of the hz.

nice! i did this last summer at eswc. my parents were away for a week so i hooked up our 32" widescreen-TV and watched some great games :)

some problems tho,

why if i play a dvd in power dvd / or i use realplayer (for my southpark episodes) and also media player does the picture not appear on my tv, only thing that works is the winamp media player. WHY?

I used to watch demos @ my 28" wide back in UT2003, but nowadays im too lazy to even turn on my tv
