Wow nicest frags I've ever seen in one UT movie by ONE player. Confuckinggratulations. Haha can't believe it...highest replay value since fooze movie I'm sure aswell.

There are downsides which drags it to 9 though and that is too many frags on one player, too many deck frags which I don't care about and don't generally think should be judged, aswell as frag on another movie maker on a map which isn't played, don't do that; obviously "played for". Music fits very well but I suppose it could have been slightly more engaging and with better sync, but it's good as it is, not required, probably wouldn't notice syncing with your jaw wide open anyway.

Editing is as good as required for this type of movie, nothing to say about that since the general quality is so damn good.

Overall great work, I'm all wound up now and probably won't be able to sleep tonight I need a long walk and thousand cigarettes atleast. Superb, love you for this and hf in real life (much more important than UT as said in it).

No, more like the movie was a drug. I was sincerely impressed by the quality of the frags, and general flow of the movie, fast paced and no super leet editing was needed to try make the frags look better than they were, imo it was some great quality there like 3x midair hs in a row, that's like...impossible in UT, and they were even hard ones. However, it's just a movie, no real display of how good the player is. :)

well, ive seen enough UT1 deck16 air-rockets to see me through till 2057.
Note: they are only impressive now if they're presented in an original way, not the same over and over and over. please people, be different with you movies, this had two obvious fooze rip-offs in it for example.
the music was so so, no song was left on long enough for there to be a flow, it just sorta jumped from 1 track to another, leaving you thinking "..oh"
maybe im being too critical, i dont know, but i really am sick of ut1 deck16 armour area air rockets, unless its a short clip with good music beneath it, which i trust "Airborne" will be.

maybe if you spent at least 4 weeks on it instead of 2, it might have been twice as good? :)

Yeah, I max out my 2Mbit =) Not great speed, but as fast as I can get it.

Good movie frag-wise. However, the music had ALL been used before. There wasn't an iota of originality in editing or music. Yet somehow it was enjoyable, since it was well-synced and the frags were all consistently great.

Not a movie to rock your world, but if you REALLY like air rockets, then this is one for you.

Well I didn't say THE sickest frag, but some of them yeah, the sickest frags will always belong to teh madducky (or me! but hey sorry if this sounded cocky, wasnt ment that way.)
Its also time for my comment, since I didnt give any in my post.
The music, is OKAY, tho its overused, and i hated the song in the combo part. The editing is okay, nothing woow or special. Same for quality, could be better, but it's watchable. And of course the frags are really great, like I said, maybe the highest level of frags in an UT movie.. Though, the content was lowered by the fact that you ONLY play that Rob guy, or badalhas, and I know he plays for frags :P Though I know Rob doesnt...he is just easy fragmeat :p And also the fact that eacht frag was displayed 100 times on a diff player wasnt good, like the standard boots kill in deck, at 2nd jump near mini. I dont care what Acer says, so I will also say that nomatter how good the frags are, but since it's only Deck-16 it WILL get boring, especially when the SAME frags are done everytime.. I also had my doubts on the monsterkills in turbine, that looked very gay, the player wasnt even moving.. It looked like a novice bot. It's a nice way to show ppl that this spawnraping is possible though :) Hmm Best frag in the movie was ehmm I think the high knockup at pulse, I mean that one is standard, nonetheless I think it's ULTRA sweet :D Ok I'll shut up now, and try to make a movie or something

Anywayz, I don't think this is about "who is a noob when it comes to winning" I just commented ur movie, and I think that is the point of releasing it, so ehm telling me I am a noob in winning as a reply on my post makes as much sense as spank me and call me barabara

Comes to the part where "how many times do you have to play the lottery to win the jackpot". In UT there is no limit of how much you can play, I mean come on, no matter how much you suck you will make "movie frags" sooner or later as long as you basically know how the game physics work. That's what these oh so leet frag movies are about, in some you can clearly see that a lot of the shots are just random incidents or "reaction shots", lol, like when you get a bounce on a player and know that you must shoot the second shot to have any chance to hit midair IMMIDIATELY, before you can even aim. Totally random. Skilled players can make "easy" midair rockets on any player in some situations on a regular basis. But what you call "sick" frags is just a fuckload of luck, sure yeah you made a rough measurement of where to put your crosshair before you shot, but it basically gives the exact same feeling as when you get 7's all over on the slot machine (it's a fucking good feeling, like it was something you really deserved). I don't really understand what you guys are discussing. It's a good and entertaining movie for a UT player, period.

Edit: Since you are bashing each others skill I think you rather should play 1on1 tl15 fl0 on 3 maps on an equal ping server and upload the demos instead of trying to beat the unlikelyness of a hitting a fast moving buggy model with a slow moving projectile. Guess we will see who is who then and stop this bullshit about who can guess a coinflip most times in a row (having the best frag(movie). Hehehe :)

A fuckload of luck is necessarry of course :D And it really DOES give you that "YEAH" feeling when it works :D Though when I will play a 1on1 for win, that will be a "simple" game of hide and seek till i am bored with hide and seek so that i go suicide myself all over the map, i mean everbody knows that :D

agree, after a while you will start to make great frags.
im starting to hit more and more air rox in q3 clan arena (pm1), im proud of myself for it and feel good when i hit a good frag. Im not gonna make a movie about it tho, as they are just average compared to other things that have been done :D

Once you learn the maps and the guns well enough, you can see where someone is jumping and have a good prediction of where they are going to be, the luck part comes from actually hitting them tho as there is so much that can change a players position :]

Good frags no doubt...although having them being displayed in a repetitive sequence kinda lowered my attention span for this movie. Music was a bit :f

good rocket kills in ut1 are NOT the ones where you can line up the rocket, they're 'instant shots' where you dont have time to really think, just like acer said. ut1 airrockets are about as interesting to me now as ztn spawnfrags, unless theyre filmed with a bit of originality.

they were on badct, but the ut1 movie section doesnt work anymore. theyre just mess about really, nothing serious. i dont play ut anymore so i have no demos to share.

may i add, i can criticize your movie all i want, thats what the comments are for, so i can express my opinion. now i just think ut1 air-rockets arnt impressive because they feel false, unlike q3 rockets. this is because q3 rockets happen often, yet still look good. infact sometimes the only way to pull a frag off without dying maybe by doing an airrocket. where as in ut1 all you need to do is whip out a mini and press backwards (yes yes i know its a bit more indepth than that). my point being, they only really look good if you dont think about it and just fire and think "maybe..."

oh and what also got on my nerves was your attitude, one thing i cant stand is bragging.

nice Movie. Good use of slomos, good Music and solid editing. But dunno about the fraggs, i mean the airrockets feel strange for a guy like me who played the game for two years and hardly remembers any airrockets from himself or others. I mean if you picked the rocketlauncher a guy with mini,pulse,asmd,sniper mostly dodged your rockets and killed you. But i think today UT99 is more about the fun and not so much about the competition and when its for fun you take more risks. The airrockets sure need skill but i liked the Combo part the most cause they remebers me more of my old UT days than airrockets ^^.

The things I liked in the movie are the frags and slomos. Most of the frags were sick shit, like the air flak secondarys and nice airrockets which I liked. The slomos brought something to the movie, dunno what but I liked it also!

The editing wasnt top notch, but enough to be good.

The things that brought this movie down as far as content is concerned were the spawn rape frags. Like what's so beautiful killing a player, who isn't even moving, 10 times with a stand combo on turbine? Or amp + mini on boomtown doing monsterkills? everyone can do that :S And for the shock session, I think the frags were pretty much every day stuff :)

imo the movie didn't have much of a flow, the sections were too short like tom said, and the fact that this was pretty much all deck brought it down aswell.

all in all, I liked the movie.

now for the spawnraping, it was really put in there for the feel of the movie, like I felt it needed a little brake from the frags, with something a bit different, these things I do here are not skilled at all, every noob can do them, but it shows how retarted turbine really is ;)

the shock session is the same story, all those frags were done from 10 ffa games on boomtown, 3 days before release, it was put in there so ppl could "relax" and w8 for the good incoming stuff :)
I am totally aware that these combos are everyday stuff, it is for me aswell.

Reason for much deck, is that to be honest, I cant make great moviefrags on codex, tempest, agony etc. I can do a hs spree, but I chose not to put any regular headshots in movie, cuz its so every day. +that I really dont play other maps than deck,codex,lia.

yep, It's the harsh reality which I have had to encounter while doing whiners ut movie :)

This was kinda boring from my POV. Maybe more entertaining for someone who played more UT. But I personaly would much rather see more maps and more types of gameplay.

When you release a fragmovie then let it be and stfu about it, let people have their opinion, lol, making arguments and even including discussions about skill, this only looks ugly. It's still a great movie but now nobody will respect you for it. Let's laugh of this thread, leave it be.

The problem with this movie is that I don't remember anything (cept the spawnkilling part ) after 2 days... I think I enjoyed it tho ;). You know, like for example I watched AnnihilatioN ca a year ago and still remember a lot of it.
