not much wow frags allot the same frags pretty small movie nothing new but I enjoied watching and think thats what its all about nice movie a 9 :>

Editting and music are OK, not a fan of the slowed down frags, made the movie feel slow

Eventho the frags weren't that awesome, the whole editing and the way the frags were presented was just great.
Music was good, and the syncing with the shoutcast was just excelent!

And at the end, the music with the 30 seconds cap, the shoutcast and be able to cap the flag on the last second.. that was just great :D

Image quality: with 28,3mb/min its quite nice i must admit, almost like SC, finally i got talked Cristal into using FSAA and it have helped greatly, his quality is really kicking it now.

Music: i didnt really notice it, it didnt annoy me, nor did i go wow, so in overall okay

Frags: well as he mentioned he didnt have many demos and thats easy to see, i mean those frags on rmzs is lame since it was easy to see rmzs was laming around, loved the part on dsN with commentator really made it special, and same with credits.

Effects: not many here, even though the overlay stuff when going fastforward got better compared to the other version i saw, but yet i dont really like it, but rest are nice, a bit to much of vegas slowmotion imo

Overall: a keeper ofc :), the movie itself comes out really good, it dosnt have any major flaws, but it dosnt have any major nice stuff in it either way, so kinda a movie to have but not creme del a creme.

1) music is really really crap. This song : "fear factory - archetype" is a piece of shit, gay metal with crap and pathetic lyrics, FF are just doing stupid nu metal now.

2) Editing is cool, but you could have avoided the 666 thing at the beginning, it's really cliché.

3) Frags aren't that impressive, and you put a crap flat crosshair, the only interesting stuff is the final cap, I think you could have found other CTF stuff like ut2k3 one against ocr for example.

Music taste is individual, so complaining about it is pointless.

I can understand for some types of music like jazz or pop, musics I don't like but respect on many sides, but that Fear Factory song is a pure commercial shit song, meant for teenagers, with a crap and simple musicality, and some crap lyrics that even an english beginner can understand. I would be pleased to help movies-makers to find some really good songs to put in their movies (various style, from electronic to extreme metal, from dark ambient to stoner rock).

FF has done some really good stuff, but that was in the past.. :)

Is it UT2004 or just this movie? The frags are really boring.

for a player that havnt played the game frags will most times look boring since it aint that upsetting to look at, but if your into the game and knows the ppl thats getting fragged etc you'll suddenly see the skill it takes and be more impressed, but yes this movie didnt have the best of the best : /

Ut is defensive. Where you would be stuck watching a rocket coming towards ur face in q3 u'd dodge it in UT, so u can say that making nice frags are harder because of how the physics works kinda different.

true true.. this movie is more boring to look @ for non ut players imo than other ut movies..
this is more a skillbased movie than "rofl omg airrocket double bio airkill" frags.. and the lack of demos is also a factor imo.
i made this movie concidering the thought that unreal players wanna watch something else than those "normal" biogibbs/rockets/flakes where luck is a bigger factor than skill.

Just to clarify I liked the movie, it was stylish and well done. I think as you say it's just a lack of demos since amazing moments in games tend to translate even for people who don't play the game. A few rofl omg moments wouldn't hurt. =)

i don't think jesus christ was full of himself tho :S
