for those who were disapointed by purri's rail aim in the final game :)

rail aim wasn't great.

Not in the beginning, no. But after a while when he got a lil warmed up then it was better. But remember that its harder to rail in q2 than q3 (at least IMO), and he did have 43% despite spamming a few rails here and there.

If you think rail aim wasn't great you know nothing about Q2...

Well, if you are not challenged you will most likely not play your best either. And frankly, there was no need for his best.

crazy railing... think some people in this thread (and other threads about this) are too used to quake3, or have never played quake2 and assume it's like quake3. It's... different. Not saying harder. But a lot more missed shots, so accuracy really doesn't mean much IMO.

Just, damn... impressive rail heh. Especially with such a high sensitivity. His snapshots were incredible. If this is substandard for him, would like to see a total purri rape demo? :)

no, imo that's why purri missed so much rail shots in finals. q2 default skins are almost invisible :-(

I couldn't get the demo to play back until I renamed it to 1.dm2 from it's original name. Decent demo but just a few special moments. Kinda funny to watch how at the beginning everyone is using lots of different weapons then near the end they all start using rail like purri. lol

Quality of other players was piss poor, still nice rails by purri.
