komplett.co.uk is quite a good place for hardware, I get most of my hardware from there and Scan, mentioned above.

Savastore also occasionally has some good prices on things like RAM and cases etc, but they do seem to have an 'odd' charging policy(once they took weeks to get an item back in stock, and when I cancelled my order they decided to charge me a fiver anyway).

Oh yes, theres www.aria.co.uk aswell, I haven't used them, but they have been recommended to me a few times now.

ebuyer is all you need.

During the last two years and three systems I have built, out of the sites I used ebuyer always came out cheapest.

Do you not have any local stores? Not PC world etc.. but usually there are some small ones that sell at cheap prices.

Sometimes you can pickup a good offer on ebay if you look hard enough, just ask the buyer if it's ok to pick it up and if he says no don't trust him. :)

TBH that's not a bad system you already have. Stick a decent GFX card in there are it will be Quake IV proof.
Considering you cna get a 6800 GT for less than 150 quid second hand, or 280 for a new 7800 GT, it might be worth doing, much cheaper and less hassle than replacing MObo and reinstalling everything.
I think UT2007 will be the next game which really justifies an upgrade.
