He's probably never driven along pacific Coast Highway, or seen the seals at pier 39 in san francisco, or taken a boat trip under the golden-gate wondered why the fuck it's hot one minute and cold the next.

Well I seem to be getting this illusion from people that lived in California for a long time. Some up to ten years. And I don't read entertainment magazines. And since when does California stretch up the entire coast? Are Oregon and Washington not part of the USA? Maybe Arnie annexed them last week and no one told me :(

i've only lived in california for 7 months, but i've known (and so does everyone else here except for you it seems) that california is over 2/3rds of the U.S. west coast. so it's an acceptable figure of speech to say that it stretches up the entire side - especially when making an exaggerrated point.

then your statement would suggest that he wasn't exaggerating and as such believes all of these statements to be 100% true; which would be ridiculous to believe. therefore, he'd be making you out to be an uneducated retard.

Me and booger are not shy to call each other retards, in fact we often do, so that was not my intention. I did actually forget about Oregon etc, even though I know it's there.
His interpretation is quite a common one, I was just saying that unless you visit CA, it's very easy to believe it a cultureless place because that's all the media ever write about, the glamor and the glitz, anyone who's been to hollywood will probably agree it far from the bed of roses that most people hear about.
But if you look at CA as a whole it's got some cool stuff. you just need to go there and see it for yourself (otherwise it's everyone's a beach bum or a movie star). FYI I think Hollywood is very tacky and false, but CA as a whole has a lot to offer, like a lot of places, perhaps excluding some parts in the middle.

When you read comments #14, #16 and then #19 and put them in a proper context you will get you the idea that he made a factual error that I corrected. You on the other hand tried to be smart about it with comment #18 unaware that only four minutes later Jamerio with comment #19 would openly admit me being right and that he was not exaggerating. Therefore comment #14 must be a factual error and must not be treated as conclusive evidence to my retardation even if the poster strongly believed it to be the truth at the time. So I strongly urge you think better of your reasoning in comment #23 because it simply can not hold any water under scrutiny.

Alas I must be off to the land of dreams. I hope we shall continue this stimulating conversation tomorrow.
