So yea, check it out, because who wouldn't want to watch a stream in a language they don't understand instead of a professionally produced in-house studio show with charismatic commentators and incredibely brofessional sign-ups.
This is really an attempt to reach out to the gaming community, many who have played any FPS online over the last 15 years will have heard of Unreal Tournament. Of the whole series, the original is still the best, and surprisingly still boasts the most active community. A lot of this goes on in the shadows though. The quality of coverage is next to none, the quality of players by now is of the highest I've seen across most games I've played. PACO and the rest of the GlobalUnreal crew have worked relentlessly to build what is now a stable and active competitive scene. With the game now openly downloadable, and being as close to pickup-and-play as is possible, this game is crying out for more exposure, and as always new players.

Number three of the FACEIT Sunday Summer Cup is going live this Sunday afternoon!
The FACEIT Summer Season will be played each Sunday for the coming month, where 128 players can join and play for $125, as well as points to qualify them for the Finale.
You can already sign-up for the tournament at this moment. Check-ins will open at 07:00 CDT, with the cup starting at 08:00 CDT.
This Sunday (21 July) will be the third Sunday Summer Season cup. It will be brought to you by Daniel "ddk" Kapadia and Bruno "ins" Pereira on FACEIT TV. The stream will go live at 08:30 CDT.
Format: First rounds will be Best-of-One, Quarter Finals and Semi Finals will be Best-of-Three, and the Grand Final will be Best-of-Five.

Please note that the maplist in the qualifiers is forced up until the semi-finals, and that these maps need to be played in the order they are written, depending on the round.
The cup is single-elimination (two players enter, one player leaves) and all the matches up until the finals will be played as a BO3. It is also worth mentioning that maps are forced in all the rounds up to the semi finals, except the decider map (in case of draw), which will be chosen by way of elimination. Elimination starts with the player with the least frags in both maps.

On the 9th of July, the guys at Red 5 Studios gave green light for the Open Beta of Firefall, a massively multiplayer online team-based FPS.
Firefall features both a large, open-world cooperative campaign that can be shared with hundreds of other players as well as a competitive multiplayer component that will incorporate features such as ladders, tournaments, clans and leagues.
According to Mark Kern, CEO of Red 5 and former Team Lead at WoW, the game tries its best to integrate both vertical and horizontal progression, meaning that at higher levels your character is still able to be threatened by a lower level player, but will still have an advantage in equipment.
Brief description of gameplay and game mechanics can be seen in the official ‘Introduction’ tutorials.
Great news for esport enthusiasts! Red 5 specially designed a new gametype called JetBall, the official competitive mode for Firefall.
The gametype consists in two teams facing each other in round based matches with the goal of scoring points in special designed arenas with the gameplay of something between 1 Flag CTF and soccer :).
