I'm happy to release a movie about Russia ZhoreZ. He is a rising star from the russian QL community and won multiple JeeSports' weekly tournaments (non-pro).

Ireland pleuraXeraphim from quakeworld.nu has announced the kick-off of the quakeworld Ignition Tournamant, geared for players new to QW. Please note the following important notice from the Ignition website:
Notice that you have the deadlines for when the games needs to be played at the top of each round in the bracket. The date is the last play date for the games in that round. After a game has been played, the winner logs onto the Ignition site to report the result with scores and screenshots from the game.

Following the good response I received on my first video I have decided to produce more game analysis videos on a more or less regular basis.

This time I have chosen a game on the most popular Quake Live duel map Blood Run (ztn) between Russia Cooller and Belarus Cypher. For the next video I'd like to feature one of the fast maps. Any suggestions for games are welcome.

I finally got round to completing this useful tool which gives you the capability of getting peoples Elo's while you are in-game. To use it, all you need to do is run the program and set an in-game bind key for it, then once you are in game press your bind to scan all the players in your current server, then press the same key again to display everyone's Elo. It also has the option to display the info to everyone in the server or just to echo it to yourself. In the future I plan to make it possible to update yourself while you are in game so you don't need to use the bot in our IRC channel. Any help/feedback much appreciated, have fun :)


Update: Thanks for the feedback guys, here is version 1.5 which addresses the issues which were raised :). By the way, you may need to uninstall the previous version or else you will probably run into problems.

Hello everyone! We (Czech Republic neverGreen and Lithuania eThaD) bring you another challenge promode tournament. It will start 21.11.2011 and it's gonna be 2v2! Each team has to have it's captain who will be responsible for team management(communication with admins, scheduling matches, etc.). Official tournament irc channel is #cpmduel. Captains can sign up their teams with a team name on challonge page ---> SIGN-UP !!!
