Hello and congratulations to 1st/2nd place in Resp3ct TDM tournament. How did the finale went for you, any specific moments you'd like to comment on?
kertaL: It was allright for me, I had some problems with my PC before the match (windows issues) and thought that I would't be able to play. Actually I'm a little bit disapointed after match. It was very close on osp5 to win, but we made some bad tactical decisions in the last few minutes. dm14 is a pack of mistakes from our side so there's nothing to comment :)
How did you get to online gaming in the first place? For how long do you play quake 3 and fps games in general?
kertaL: I play Quake 3 from the very beggining with some shorter or longer breaks and FPS since I was 6 - finished Wolfenstein with no cheats :P
You are well known in q3 community as skilled TDM player for some time. Was it a long hard journey to get to top or you were kind of natural talent.
kertaL: I think that I've no talent but I get to the top only by practicing. It took me some time but now I feel good in TDM, and don't care who I'm playin against. I don't know if anyone knows me in Europe but in Poland I always played some piece of good TDM. But never the best, and even if I played better than the other top players I was at the very end as it went to first lineup. But now everyone seems to accept me as 1st lineup player and don't mention about "but kertal plays not as good as f.e. kakaczoko"
What do you consider to be your greatest success in your gaming career and why?
kertaL: Greatest? Hmmm I remember two some kind of epic wins -> first it was against Northstars in some EuroCup (with dinhz). The second one was winning championship in Poland from LB. It was against Oldstyle I suppose and we owned enemy 4:0 with high scores on every map after losing to them in WB. And as it goes for duel I've no big successess - maybe getting to top8 in EuroCup as I'm not a 1v1 specialist :) It was a lot of other championships but these things I remember particularly.
What are your other hobbies excluding gaming?
kertaL: I study on two faculties so I've no time for much hobbies :) But I like practising in the gym, football (both watching and playing) and reading books :)
