Friday 12th of August:
I organised a 2on2 cup to get the players warmed up for the duel on Saturday. It started off pretty relaxed, but ended up being very entertaining with some awesome matches.

Saturday 13th of August and Sunday 14th of August:
The group-stage was played best of 1, with players eliminating maps until one remained. There was a few sign-ups at the event and in order to give them the most experience I decided to do a group-stage. There where a few guys who decided to quit after realising they weren't really in the same league as the experienced players, which meant I had to give a few default wins. However, the group-stage was mostly for fun as 4 players from each group advanced making it very easy. They where also seeded to increase the chance of progression for every player.

For the play offs I decided to use a best of 3, double elimination bracket as this is the one I always found to be the fairest. It also meant that the players could maximise their games without running out of time during the weekend. There where some fantastic performances, and although the final standings suggest a fairly expected ranking, there where some very close-calls for our top seeds.
