The list definitely brings the top of different games together to form most likely the best duel tournament ever. Most of the players already started practicing, the CPL had to expand their DOOM3 tournaments a few times because it went full so quickly.

At the moment it’s hard to say who will win this tournament, it’s even hard to say who will end top 16 or even top 32. New game and that’s something completely different then a previous game. Results from previous games doesn’t count anymore, it’s all new. There are of course a few names that could be considered as the players who have the most chance of getting in to the top of this tournament, but they all 50 have the potential to become a winner of this CPL Winter event.

There are a few teams which have more then one player in this tournament, one of those teams is SK Gaming, they recently recruited zyz and neok to form together with fragm, GitzZz and SteLam a strong Doom 3 team.
Also fnatic seems to be doing well with recruiting Doom 3 players, it seems that they added ic’s star player fox, and Z4muZ. Also ESWC and CPL Winner Vo0 is signed up.

They are the players who are not profiled but I can tell that you definitely should keep an eye on them, they definitely good players as well and also have the potential to become a very strong DOOM3 player.
