hello hello!
uh so yes. i cant remember where i left off so i'll kick off Crescent Head which is about 6hours north of Sydney.
Thanks to some ESR user who commented in my journal (cant remember who but thank you lotsa!) we decided to hop off the bus at Kempsey and then catch a local bus to Crescent which is on the coast. Kempsey was a fantastic hillbilly town. Everyone knew everyone a little too well if you know what i mean. decided to get the hella outa there asap and get the bus. Crescent was smashing. On the coast with a fantastic sunset everynight and a nice long beach. Highlight was def when i went for a walk around 4pm back along the beach and saw about 12 dolphins or more swimming with the breaking of the waves etc. i was right out by myself and noone else saw it, was great. sadly i didnt have my camera.
excuse lack of paragraphs
after i think 3 nights there we got the bus down to Sydney where we had a place to stay with my sisters friend. Seemed to be a nice city (like most when you're comparing them to the UK) but i get bored in them pretty quick. something to do with being a country lad.
on the 22nd we got the Plane to NZ and landed in Christchurch. i was looking forward to NZ more than OZ because basically we hadnt really planned what we were going to do. we wanted to get some skiiing/boarding in but had no idea how or when. the 1st day in christchurch we went looking for a campervan because it would be so much more fun than using the bus. various wandering about and getting disappointed till we came across some guys selling theres for $1500NZ. Checked it out and in a non-socker it was pretty rust ridden etc but had a check and it wasnt TOO bad after managed to knock the price down to $1000 thats about 400UK pounds. b-b-bargin.
Following day headed to Wanaka to ski/board at a place called Treble Cone. Has a crazy dirt track you have to drive up to get to, the van only just makes it.
So yeah, im now in NZ, last day in Wanaka tomorrow and the weathers smashing at the moment, although it needs a bit of snow on the mountains. right better go, sure i missed some stuff out. if you havnt yet please check out my gallery and comment on anything you like cos it means alot! um
good
thanks
seeya soon.
