Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

ESA Welcomes Quakers (51 comments)
Posted by esdf @ 12:14 CDT, 6 June 2013 - iMsg
ELECTRONIC SPORTS ASSOCIATION (ESA) is starting it's operations today. To make things more interesting, one of the games it will feature is Quake Live.

EDIT: Due to accidentally having published the tournament before everything was sorted out (including map pool, schedules, etc), I'd just like to confirm that the game mode will be TDM. A more detailed post on the first tournament will greet you on Monday/Tuesday here on ESR, along with possibility to sign your teams up for it, etc. Sorry for the confusion!

Why Quake? Well, seeing how our dearest Q is the granddaddy of e-sports it just wouldn't be fair to leave it out. You'll get the chance to compete for points, cash and prestige in ESA's tournaments and to participate you only need to sign up on ESA's homepage.

During next week there will be extensive information about our first cup posted here, so watch out! It's time to start signing up because the cups start as early as July and you don't want to be doing everything on the last day now, do you? :P

Check out the links below for more info on what ESA is about and more details on it's tournaments. Also, you're welcome to idle/perform in mIRC #esa @ quakenet.

You will be surprised, but 6 June 11:00 CST we will see the match for 3rd place in the 125 FPS May League, BO5, Russia cooller vs Germany k1llsen.

K1llsen could not play this match on Friday, because he was sick and he just gave free win to the cooller, but Anton gives him a second chance to fight for the victory (and money btw ;). Both players confirmed and ready to fight. Streamers are ready too.

#playquake moves to #ctfpickup (26 comments)
Posted by smove @ 09:35 CDT, 2 June 2013 - iMsg
Since the original plans for PlayQuake couldn't be implemented we decided to move the pickup IRC channel to #ctfpickup. This channel name will fit the actual topic way better since PlayQuake has never been anything else but CTF. #playquake however will stay available for a while since one of our bots will invite everybody to the new channel.

We would also like to thank everyone who is already using our service and supporting us. We're looking forward to having many many games in the new channel. Feel free to invite your friends to play more CTF. See you in #ctfpickup! Pizza is life.

Fatal1ty in Challenge at Taipei 101 (239 comments)
Posted by TUMULT @ 09:57 CDT, 1 June 2013 - iMsg
United States of America Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel, with a record 12 World Titles, contested in an unprecedented 5 different games is undoubtedly the world’s most successful video gamer in history. However, in recent years Fatal1y has declined to compete professionally. Instead he has focused on promoting video gaming globally via his anointed role as Gaming Ambassador, while concentrating on his Fatal1ty Gaming Gear enterprise.

But times change, and now, “Fatal1ty” has been challenged to a special Painkiller 1v1 competition by his former sparring partner United States of America Kyle “relic” Mims. relic has called Fatal1ty out, and at stake is much more than personal pride and bragging rights – OCZ has stepped up and committed a prize of NT$300,000 (USA $10,000) to relic … if he is victorious.

Johnathan Wendel often likes to state that “FATAL1TY MEANS GAMING.” With that said, Fatal1ty has answered the challenge, and will take on relicat Taiwan’s landmark Taiwan Taipei 101 building on Thursday, June 6, 2013. In his first professional match of consequence since 2007, will Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel be ready to live up to his title as the greatest gamer in history? And obliterate relic? -OR- will relic be able to do it again? And beat Fatal1ty? … And take home a prize of NT$300,0000.
