Last week we saw Cooller take down Cypher with 3-0 in the grand final, making the Russian the first winner of the FACEIT Quake Live Spring Season. This Sunday the FACEIT Sunday Spring Cup #2 will take place.

We are back with the stream this week on FACEIT TV with United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia and our special guest of this week, none other than France Kevin "strenx" Baeza, who will be going live at 07:30 CST.

The FACEIT Sunday Spring Cup #2 will be kicking off at 07:00 CST, while check-ins open at 06:00 CST. You can currently already sign-up.

With only a few days to go, I would like to remind people to sign up for one of the cups hosted by World Gamers' Arena. You can find a list of signups here


We will try to form divisions within each cup; however, only if the numbers of signups allow us to do so. For this reason, we hope that we can gather more clans in the last few days. In case you have noticed that some of the clans haven't signed up yet, please tell them to do so.

FACEIT Daily Cups 15-18 April (9 comments)

Here are the FACEIT Daily Cups for 25 to 28 March. All the cups will kick off at 12:30 CST, with check-ins opening at 11:30 CST, except for the TDM cups, which will start one hour earlier, 11:30 CST (check-in opens at 10:30 CST).

Monday will feature the Level 4 and Level 8 duel cups, while on Wednesday the other two levels, 6 and 10, will be able to face each other off.

This week however, we will be featuring two Team Deathmatch cups instead of Clan Arena. On Tuesday the TDM 2v2 Test Cup will take place, while on Thursday teams of four can get their fix. You can create a team in the right top corner, be sure to only add one extra person to the team (2/4 - depending which cup - players per team max.). If you are already in a team, you will have to quit it. Be sure all players check-in.
This does not mean we will stop hosting CA cups, but we will be alternating every week between TDM and CA.


Don't forget you can play on the FACEIT QL Ladder every evening from 12:00 CST till 18:00 CST!

After an epic Winter Season Finale, ending with Cypher taking down pavel with 3-0 in the grand final, we are now ready for the FACEIT Quake Live Spring Season.

Everyone starts with a clean slate, back on zero points and everyone on equal terms to qualify for the Finale. Every Sunday for the coming months you will be able to win points by finishing in the top sixteen. On top of that, the top two of each cup will be rewarded with cash prizes. At the end of the Spring Season, the top eight will be invited for the Season Finale.

For the Spring Season we will be making a small change in the map pool. Toxicity is back in, while we say goodbye to Silence, for now, until we deem it suitable for our Season (different color for example). Other than that, you will be able to get your Quake fix at 07:00 CST every Sunday, either by playing or tuning in to FACEIT TV. Check-ins open at 06:00 CST.

This Sunday will be the first cup of the season; the FACEIT QL Sunday Spring Cup #1. Commentary will be starting at 07:30 CST on FACEIT TV, with commentary by United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia and Switzerland Gioacchino "Memento_Mori" Noris.
