Adroits are hosting points cups with a duel entry ticket up for grabs! The first four in the series of six cups were already played and the 5th is Thursday!

As expected, the player who has accumulated the most points by the end of the series will receive free entry to the LAN, as well as the 2nd place, since Germany twister already secured the 1st place.

We're happy to announce Season 2 of Thunderdome, which is scheduled to start October 1st!

Let's take a look in the rear view mirror at Season 1, where we had 125 players signed up from 25 different countries, spread across 5 divisions... it was a great ride!


Now let's put the past behind and look at what's ahead of us. Soon, after a long and barren summer break - it will be time for another walk through claustrophobic dark zones and blood runs through bad places. There's no shocking news to rules, maps or format - but there are few things worth mentioning:

Well as you all know we have had alot of requests for Dismemberment, so without further a due here it is!! This event was actually post on the CSN site over a week ago and we have already filled but the wait list is pretty much wide open and from the sign ups last week(24/16) and the only 14 actual peeps who checked in you will most likely get to play in the event. So feel free to at least sign up to the wait list and come hang out on irc on Tuesday!

This event starts at 20:00 CDT with check-in starting at 19:00 CDT. We will not be increasing the brackets anymore due to players being in school and/or working in the AM. The wait listed players will be able to check in 15min prior to closing.

I would prefer to see all matches played on private servers with passwords in order to not have any disruptions! Hope to see you all sign up!

Hi everyone! The first ever FACEIT Quake Live SUNDAY CUP is coming up in just a week and we would like your input on the map pool, so we can bring you the perfect entertainment.

Aerowalk, Toxicity, Lost World and Furious Heights are definitely in the map pool, but you can decide if you would like to see an extra map added, making it a pool of five maps, or three extra maps, making it a pool of seven maps. Please note that this is only the map pool for the first Sunday Cup, and it may be changed for the following cups.

You can vote over on our Facebook page, where we have opened a poll. Vote!

You can also join our IRC channel, #FACEIT on Quakenet, to follow the cup. Players will also have to be on it to assure contact with admins and such. We hope to see you all on Sunday!

Note: Sign ups open on Saturday, when the platform launches!

With Germany twister managing to cement the 1st place prize after only 4 tournaments (Cup #4 demos), we have decided to award free entry the person who finishes 2nd in the rankings list after the 6th cup is completed as well. This means that there is still something to play for in the next 2 tournaments.

Organized by Russia 102.Latrommi, aka 2Z.Immortal, who actually plays both modes, the match will be played on a PQL server modified to match as close as possible the original Q3 CPM.

After EDL, its time to start the one and only European Quake 2 League #17, the biggest Quake 2 TDM 4v4 League on Earth, in which the best Q2 clans will compete for the title.

This league is open for anyone who likes and loves playing Q2 Q2. Just grab 3 teammates and you are ready to go!

The league will have several divisions, so everyone with any skill level can play and have an equal chance to win without losing 600 to -5! There is also a possibility we'll have prize money for the winners so don't hesitate to sign up!

Quake History goes BETA (84 comments)

That's right, after about one year of work, Quake History has finally reached the beta phase. I would like to take this opportunity to share some information with you about the some things I have been working on. The first thing I would like to mention is the Versus feature, which gives you the ability to compare players and teams (maps as well in the future). Secondly, I have updated the stream list (status refreshed every 3 minutes) where you can watch - mainly Quake - other people's streams. Thirdly, an IRC bot has been deployed by Poland xynix - more information below. Last but not least, I have finally managed to add the biggest tournament so far: the last ZOTAC QL Duel Cup (#144).

The website is growing, slowly but maturely. Currently there are about 2400 matches, 140 tournaments, 1200 players, 100 streams present in the database, which still is a tiny little part of the Quake world (new content is being added almost every day). There are currently 52 users, who can write comments, change their account settings and add literally everything to the "favourites".


Once I finally get a 40/40 Mbit connection the Quake History TV will start streaming some goodies for you! :)

Today's update introduces the ability to purchase subscriptions in one, three, and six month increments, along with the ability to purchase redeemable gift tokens. It also resolves several issues that have popped up with the arena cycling system over the past month.
