Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.
There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.
In the latest dev stream they had some comments about plans for CA and CTF. We've been loud and clear about CTF, so I figured why not have a poll about how we feel about CA :)

InstaWars, a new tournament whose brackets are filling quickly, has aims of bringing competition to the unranked mod of instagib capture the flag in North America. The tournament is open to anyone who has a 4-man team to compete with and will start the 4th week of February. The sign-up deadline will be on Sunday, February 21st.

4Seasons Gaming has managed to interview ESL IEM World Championship qualifier, EG's Chance "Chance" Lacina. The North American is famous throughout the world for writing the Quake Bible, and I'm sure a lot of people will be ecstatic to hear that Chance is planning on writing another guide.
Can you recall what obstacles you had to overcome before taking your game to the professional level and how you approached fixing or bettering them?
Chance: I remember timing being one important hurdle I had to better understand then overcome in my game-play. Kronos, a friend, rival, and former top player in North America, taught me invaluable information on timing and the usefulness of understanding it all. I learned how to position myself by watching his demos/recordings and I ended up building a more 'aim-heavy' style to my movement.
On a side note, I know many aspiring gamers are finding there aren't many worthwhile 'skill enhancement' guides to Quake. Very few professional players offer advice and the available lessons found throughout the internet are often outdated and useless in competition. I'm looking to change this by writing a guide in the near future on this subject which should help players build their own strategy in-game. Ideally, I'd like to provide to other aspiring gamers tools that I just didn't have available when I was first taking Quake seriously, but that can also help them advance in their skill at a measurable speed.

So far it is unclear whether the keys are being distributed to fansite recommendations, blizzcon key winners or opt-ins. I will keep you posted once I have more info.
Update 1 (Source???)
We don’t have an exact start date to share at this time, but note that when it does begin, we will be adding additional regions to the beta test in phases. During the IEM Asian Championship, where Zhibo "Jibo" Fan managed to come out on top at the Quake Live tournament, fragster had the chance to talk with the Asian superstar. So he explained why QL wasn't his game at the beginning, what motivated him again to play the game and why he is spending most of his time to watch demos.
I heard you've spent a lot of time watching demos from other IEM Finals participants before your semifinal match. Did you find out anything special?
Jibo: I started watching demos since my first practice day. I didn't know anything about 1on1 in QL, so I needed to learn up from the lowest level. I even watched some demos two or three times, from both POV. After this, I started to collect puzzles for my tactic in this game.
The special is: Demos are like a book, aim is like a labs – combine them and you will own.

You can try Warsow and Bomb by download it from warsow.net.
Mode: Bomb & Defuse 5on5
Last day for signups: 21st February
Time Schedule: 1 game / week from Monday 22nd. Estimated run time with playoffs is 5-7 weeks.
Mappool: wbomb1, reactors_2, alley, shepas and emwarehouse. All matches will be played in bo3 format
Since we're approaching the last one week of the QL Nations Cup 2010, I would like to summarize what has been already played and what's ahead of us in the upcoming two weeks.
This week brought no shocks, as all favorites managed to win 2:0 except for the Czech Republic, which got one point from the match vs Italy.
The most interesting clash in this week was Austria vs Serbia, where game one was unexpectedly even for most of the time.
Match of the Week Holland agaist Finland. Despite losing first map by 6 frags and the second by 34, the Finns had a great game.
All went as expected until Sweden - Finland match. The Swedish team was taken by surprise by the Finns and lost to them 1-2.
Another mentionable match was Ukraine vs Slovakia, in which the Slovak underdogs gave their opponents a hard time and forced the match to go into a 3rd map, where the favorites from Ukraine managed to win.
Match of the Week Finland against Sweden, absolutely. The 'Svenskar' underestimated their rival, or it certainly seemed so by not having the strongest possible lineup (and not deciding to use the wildcard). Altough they won the first map, the Finnish team showed that they'd better not be taken lightly and won the next two maps on dm14 and 20, by 10 and 7 frags respecitvely.
Week 3 brought us a number of great matches with some suprises in both group A and B. The first one is matter again, with winning their match against Ukraine only 2-1 and possibly complicating their way into playoff.
Match of the Week
A very dramatic fight, Russia / Iceland. Just see it by yourselves :)
The most important match of group C has been played this week. Highly seeded Austrian team has met with Germany, where Germans desperately needed to win, so they could ensure their chance to advance to playoff. Germans unfortunately lost this match and team Austria took 2 points and kicked team Germany from the group.
Match of the Week
This week's best match was United Kingdom vs Iceland. Both teams were quite confident to beat their opponent so we could expect great match. United Kingdom won this match by small frag difference in both maps.
Now, 3 of the most important matches are ahead of us: United Kingdom vs Russia, Netherlands vs Sweden and Hungary vs Italy. We wish them all the best luck to in these fights which will decide who goes into the playoff.
The last thing I want to mention is we already started working on Colossem 2 for QQC QL NC 2010 nationscup. There you can download and watch a short preview.
It appears the Intel Game On International Finals came to an end these last days with the final opposing fnatic/strenx to Stermy. Unfortunately, there wasn't much coverage of the matches and many players didn't show up for their group matches. Hopefully some demos should be available soon. Here are the final rankings:
1st. fnatic/strenx - Alienware M17x Laptop, Three day trip to CeBIT 2010 in Hannover, Germany, VIP pass to IEM4 Final at CeBIT, €150 spending money
2nd. Stermy - Roccat SDMS Bundle consisting of: Kova Mouse, Arvo Keyboard, Sota Mousepad, Apuri Mousebungee / USB Hub
3rd. noctis - All our love
If you missed them, you can also check the rankings for each region as well as the winners of the ROCCAT lotteries on the ESL website
With the Extreme Masters World Finals just around the corner as part of our run-up coverage to the event we had a chance to talk to the American Quake Live superstar; Tim "DaHanG" Fogarty.
DaHanG qualified for the World Finals in a stunning fashion with the highlight being his defeat of another American juggernaut on the Quake Live scene, rapha. We asked DaHanG about his practice schedule, how the distance he has to travel affects him at European events and how it felt to beat a player like rapha in the qualifiers and plenty more for your reading pleasure.
Is your practice schedule more intense the bigger the event is or does your practice routine often stay the same?
As long as there are events on the horizon I tend to play 10-15 hours a week. Not necessarily duel though. I play a lot of CTF since I enjoy the game on its own and the community. But as an event nears I definitely put in more time - usually 20-30 hours the week or two before the event. Since the time limit is 10 you can feel like you got a lot more done without necessarily a whole week dedicated to the game as if it's a full time job. I'm going to try to take whatever steps necessary to get in top form whether it means playing a lot or staying fresh and avoiding a burnout. We'll see how it goes.
Speaking of the time different does the travelling hinder you at all? Having to travel such a long way does jet lag and the time difference give your more challenges to overcome?
I think it has and does. For me personally, I tend to stay up late. So for me I believe gaining 6-7 hours isn't nearly as difficult as losing 6-7 hours. Going from America to Europe, we lose hours so it can be very difficult to adjust within just one day of the tournament. This time I intend to arrive 2-3 days early, so there will be no room for excuses. I also play on day 2 of the tournament, so that's even another day. I'm confident that it won't even be a factor this time.

In the latest addition of gameinformer there is an article, written by Nick Ahrens, on the top 10 first person shooter multiplayer maps. I can live with some of his choices but obviously this writer didn't do his homework. My first issue with this list has to be his 10th choice; Tokay's Tower of Quake 2. If you're going to choose any map from Quake 2 it would obviously be The Edge. The second thing that bothered me about this list is that was the only true deathmatch map chosen, not a single Unreal Tournament map. Third, this writer obviously favored the Battlefield series seeing as there were 3 different maps from the BF series.

With the Intel Extreme Masters making their third stop around the world in Taiwan recently, it seems like this Asian event was not getting anywhere near as much attention from the FPS community as the European and American finals.
Somehow (:D) I found this article about why it could be that FPS games aren't that successful in the largest competitive gaming markets in the world.
Excerpt:
Like the arcades in Japan, PC Baangs were major social places, like bars and clubs are to the western world. It was a mainstream part of youth culture. Even the layout of PC Baangs are social, with a large loveseat attached to two computers so that guys could sit with their girlfriends. Because of the ban on console imports, this allowed PC Baangs to only offer PC games and it just so happened that Starcraft was there. Would it be different had Quake or Counter Strike been available?
