Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Stickrunners Season 4 or? (51 comments)
Posted by Kruzz @ 11:19 CDT, 15 September 2009 - iMsg
Head admin Belgium chatfragger decided to go for the 4th Stickrunners Q3CTF OSP season. "Even if only 4 clans sign up," he says, "we will fight till the very end! Quake 3 turns 10 years in December and we’ll still be around by then."

Signups are open. The league format is likely to be the same as the summer cup. That is 4v4 by default and 5v5 if both clans agree. Games are again planned for Sundays on the XS4ALL servers :)

You know the drill to join: send him a mail at chatfragger@fastmail.fm with the clan name, contact person and lineup.

We’re scheduled to start on Sunday October 4th.

Quakenight returns (46 comments)
Posted by xfoo @ 22:25 CDT, 14 September 2009 - iMsg
After a brief summer hiatus Quakenight.com returns with three new NA leagues for this fall.

First, Quakenight will be running a new and experimental dueling competition. Rather than having individuals competing head to head, this league will pit teams of duelers against each other. Each team will select 3 duelers to play one map in a best of 3 map match. Will your team put in the seasoned veteran or send in the one map wonder kid against the opposing team's best player?

The second league will be North America's first 2v2 TDM competition. Currently this is one of the most active scrimmage game types in NA, and will feature the best of the upcoming and top players.

Finally, after the success of the Quakecon CTF tournament Quakenight will be running an instagib CTF league. While the league may not be everyone's cup of tea we think there will be some fun to be had.

GGL and NGL have agreed to provide private servers to the competitions while GameFire TV has agreed to provide shoutcasting for the Team Duel League. Quakelive Tv also did a fantastic job casting for our other leagues and we hope they will return for these seasons.

Intel Extreme Masters embraces QuakeLive (125 comments)
Posted by Rondrian @ 14:42 CDT, 14 September 2009 - iMsg
Quake Live is now officially part of the Intel Extreme Masters Continental Championship Season. That means that there will be regional Quake Live Championships in at least Europe and North America for Quake Live. The tournament system for both regions is already announced, but it's still open if the the Quake Live tournaments will be completely online or will end together with World of Warcraft and Counter-Strike 1.6 in offline finals.

In both regions eight players get directly invite to the Continental Championship and the top two of four qualification cups will also go to each Continental Championship. The Continental Championship will be played in a system of four by four groups. The first player of each group advances directly to the Continental Finals, while the second one faces the third one of another group for a slot on the finals.

The official website says that the North American Championship qualification will start on September, 20th, so we can expect more details pretty soon.

Fox Leaves LLL, draven joins (103 comments)

In an announcement today, Team LowLandLions said they will be releasing Sweden Magnus "fox" Olsson, and that the organization will be picking up Dutch Quaker Netherlands Jeffrey "draven" Debipersad. When asked about the decision, team manager Birger De Geyter said:
" I would like to wish Magnus the best of luck in his future. The time has come for LowLandLons and fox to move on. I am certain he will sign with a great team and LowLandLions will continue its focus on the Benelux market. Draven fits perfectly into that strategy and I am very happy that Jeffrey will represent LowLandLions in the Quake Live playing field moving forward."

While it's understandable that the team would want to go in a more local approach to their roster, Olsson is still one of the best duelers in the world and will be a tough asset to replace. He will be a huge pickup for any team that has the opportunity.

ALL pro teams head to workshop + video (17 comments)

Its that time once again, time for all pro gaming teams to head away to their workshops.

Around this time every year, 11 of the 12 pro gaming teams head out across South Korea, or even to different countries, for their team workshop. A workshop is a 3 day event where a team comes closer together by building a stronger friendship with its teammates and coaches, as well as discussing the past and upcoming season, and obviously to just have a vacation from their normal life of being on the computer most of the day.

As we’ve seen already, Woongjin Stars, SK Telecom T1, and the Hite Sparkyz are among a few teams who have already left for their workshop, while teams like KT Rolster and eSTRO left today to Taebaek and will return on the 11th.

CJ Entus will depart to Incheon, where they will spend two days and three nights going over strategies and having fun all together. You can watch the 2008 workshop video that was filmed while on location in Pocheon, Korea (pictures here). They went white water rafting, had paint pall tournaments, stayed in a big house, and cooked some nice barbecue, among other things. This first tutorial is played out on Blue Storm, against a popular online commentator that goes by the name of FinlandSC_Zerg Ahzz. The game itself is a Terran vs. Zerg, and the length is about 23 minutes.
