Grave - I was doing a bit of a google search on 'naruto spoilers' and found some pretty interesting episode info, if they were to happen. How do ppl get this information, if the episodes have not been released? ;/ Just guessing, or someone close to the creator has let these slip..

Only ever watched Berserk and Hellsing as far as anime goes, i can highly recommend both.

kind agave up on naruto cuz its so shit, bleach started off alright but now at ep 88 or smt with the bounto fillers... its not as good as it started off. watching full metal alchemist now wich is already completed -> 51 eps. also watched elfen lied before wich is awesome :>

Im Iive in Korea, so I had watched a lot of Japanese Animations but it's been a long time since I enjoyed watching animes, I don't know recent Japanese animes. Anyway I would like to recommend "Initial D" that is a some kind of street racing anime, while it is a old anime, it is a very funny though.

Seen all of Initial D, the last episode against those 2 old guys one in the GTR and the other in a Honda S2000 is kinda a let down :(

I saw all of Initial D Second Stage (on Winamp TV). I did thoroughly enjoy it although those car racing scenes sometimes dragged on. I haven't got around to watching any other series but it's certainly on my todo list. :-)

Recommend Initial D to anyone especially if you like cars/racing.

Black Lagoon, only 12 ep's (and have only found 9 translate ones...) but damn it kicks ass. Or should we say the female character Levi/Revy (depending on sub) kicks ass.

First and sixth ep's are just omg, wtf, schwaa...? Also she shot a pleasant amount of people in another ep but I don't remember which, just watch them all in a row since 9 is nothing... But damn I want the last ones :(

Those just off top of my head since I enjoyed them the most. Other ppl's suggestions are also good. And NGE is a classic so you should try it (26 eps but skip the last 2 and proceed directly to 'End of Evangelion' movies).

No DON'T skip the last 2 episodes. Jesus what is it with you people. Just because they're not bang bang action it doesn't mean they're not important to the story.

They're not. 'End of Evangelion' is what Eps 25 & 26 were supposed to look like. Apart from the short alternative story at the end of Ep 26 they're not worth the time imo.

No they're not omg. They are *part* of EoE and NOT alternative at all. The story didn't change, they just revealed more of it.

I didn't say they were alternative. I was referring to the short clip at the end of Ep 26.

EoE which consists of 2 movies is an alternative for Eps 25 & 26 and I like them better.

And 'Death & Rebirth' is a summary of Eps 1-24 only which means that you can choose your own ending to the series.

The first series is the best.

It's kind of like Naruto, a little more childish in the beginning tho, but it's comparabloe to naruto :)

watch beck (fun), berserk(violent) and chrno crusade(fun violent and with sad ending!). full metal alchemist and love hina is also easily watched anime for beginners.. dont bother noir(deep and slow), madlax(deep slow and confusing) or neon genesis evangelion(generally fucked up) if you are new to anime, watch them in a few months from now. before that but after the totally newbie (newbie != bad) anime try out wolves rain and gungrave. deep dark and overall nice.

watched akira, ghost in the shell 1 & 2 and Battle Angel Alita,
also read Manga comic Battle Angel Alita 1-9 (twas really fresh and good until 3rd part, then I got used to it, and only read it because I wanted to finish it ...) ...
but I can't help myself, I think the possibilities in anime are really big,
but somehow there are not really anime for grown ups ...
I mean something really serious, not some copy of hollywood trash ... ghost in the shell 1 & 2 were somewhat serious, but not intelligent enough ... is there an anime that is thought provoking and has really good action (not like the stupid action scene in ghost in the shell 2, where they enter some hotel and run around and kill everyone of the mafia gang ...) ... I mean really good action scenes, like in ghost in the shell 1 in the end against the robot, or in part 2, there the cop buys food for his dog in a store and gets trapped ...

btw, I somehow never watch a series,
only something that is meant as single product (e.g. one film),
maybe that's stupid, but I believe somehow that series is a product which is really meant to be consumed, of course the authors of the series also have to say something, but the real substance of the series gets stretched to no end ... of course a film is also meant to be consumed, but the story, the substance, is much better pointed out ... that is somehow, why I never watch a series of anything,
only films, of course I ignore some important stuff that way,
but it is not too much I think ... it's not really that watching t.v. makes you a wise man anyway ... so only concentrate on the important stuff ;-)
