Yea and you gotta be pretty stupid not to see the point of it. He played for the money which were in all other games than Q3 at that point.

When he made a living and most importantly a name of himself, by switching to where the money was, playing a game he left and did not practice any more, and then prolly losing to one of the champions in it, would be a carreer blunder of proportions.

He did well in the other games and he did well in Q3 back when he played that. Why try to deterioate those accomplishments just because people got better at the game after he left?

Point is, Fat has won over 50 tournaments. Doesn't matter what game it is really. Doesn't matter if it's #1 or #2.

That's weird, I am sure he and Zero4 were quite the rivals for a couple years. Oh and a little known players named CZM...

You can hate him and think he is not as good as whomever you'd like. But in reality, he has won more tournaments in Quake 3 than anyone, except MAYBE Zero4 (it's close) even to this day.

He won more than just the finals in PK. And if you still want to use the Voo had a bad day option, well, doesn't every player that loses in any 1on 1 sports have a bad day that day? Most I have watched have but the difference is some credit the winning player with outplaying them that day instead of saying they played bad, but that is the individuals choice.

Bitching the same point over and over doesn't make you any more correct than the opposing statement.

What we need to do is get Fatal1ty back into competition. While we are at it, let's get the rest of the old schoolers...wouldn't that be some sweetness...

Quake competition have been weak for the last couple of years since Quake 4 died and even during the Quake 4 days the competition wasn't as good as it used to be. So I wouldn't count any old school player out.
