Also, they should have kicked you out and let Prozac cast. He would have at the least been able to fill the dead air time between matches.

From my understanding, he was wearing a towel around his shoulders on the stage, which was wet. Maybe he just came from the pool, I don't know.

No doubt the admins exaggerated that situation also. People came to me during the event asking why Prozac was "Running around naked" at the tournament area. I told them he wasn't, he quickly (QUICKLY) changed his pants...so it was apparent that the admins were exaggerating that event just to make him look worse.

So, in the water on stage case, same shit different story. Admins once again exaggerating a small situation to make him look bad. Let me also make this clear, when I say 'admins', I say the ones who actually care about the players, Psyn, Stevo, etc. Most of the tournament admins were amazing, best jobs I've ever seen.

Point being, Prozac being removed without warning is fucking RIDICULOUS. The guy was bangin, keepin it sexy. He was a threat to no one, and didn't need fucking security to escort him out.

To keep it short, nerd admins once again prove how fucking worthless they are by trying to feel superior using their powers and abusing them to remove people from events.

I wasn't there and don't know what prozac was doing, but cooller yesterday said that from his POV, prozac was acting like he was under drugs and he meant it totally seriously, not in the joke sense at all. So I don't know, maybe the issue is not that simple.

Prozac would have been seen as a near abomination to a Texan.

From my end this interview was pretty ridiculous.

2:45PM CDT: spot dkt, fatal1ty, and JaX walking towards pool. Stalk them to the pool
2:55PM CDT: stermy and prozac in the pool
3:35PM CDT: It is easily over 100 degrees and humid as ballz and djWHEAT finally calls me to get on show

He didn't lose only to Sparks, but to KGB before that as well. He is simply quite bad.
His team also lost with 1-8 per map against the most average team there, which itself lost with about 1-8 a map against Loaded later.

This dude get's annoyingly much hype considering his horrible shoutcast and his equally horrible level of quake.

If he would simply participate declaring that he knows he isn't any good, that'd be fine, but before each tournament we get the "I practiced, and I'm competing for the tournament win" while he is ages away from decent competitive players like DKT or chance and shouldn't even join a server with av3k and rapha.

I don't know if I'm hating when I acknowledge that ProZac, the quake and tdm legend he is, has made several LAN comebacks where he has declared that he has practiced a lot and wants to win, only to get beaten down by decent players that don't even matter in the big scheme.

He is making an ass out of himself, and probably doesn't even notice it.

Also, sources tell me that he is trying to chat up some quake players for hotel time, and that this isn' too attractive for most players out there.

Maybe he thinks he's some kind of self-ordained comedic savior who feels compelled to bring supposed "coolness" to an otherwise nerdy event? But instead I think some of the laughs are just nervous "wtf" reactions.

What Nukm said...and Chance has tons of lan time and major tournament experience. Certain players just clash styles with certain players. Take Calipt/Rapha on ztn for example.

proZaC is a nice guy, I had the pleasure of talking with him a few minutes the next morning at the small cafe inside the Hilton...just a nice guy who supports Quake and wants to have a good time!

I couldn't stand listening to Scoots. He's like a spoon of shit in a barrel of honey.

First of all, Scoots gave props to Slasher for still covering the event. I was fine with it during first few seconds because I wasn't sure where he was going with this. Then he slipped into a hypothetical rant how he would instead bash id in every way possible, post shit about them, DESTROY them, and sue them in federal court(not really)... well, that sir, is retarded on many levels. Starting with the fact that no one gets banned for nothing and finishing with complete violations of human decency bashing id or even proposing to bash id in such retaliation. Here i already knew that the guy has cockroaches in his head and there are having fireworks.

Second, he started to unload his unholy passion on technical difficulties during quakecon. Sure, organization did not deliver at first. But having such hatred and anti-passion on a radio cast ? Get a grip dude... lighten up, see a double rainbow or something... god. This event has been always built on volunteers, and from years of quakecon I don't remember one with good coverage/scheduling/organization. So the standards are still in place.

Third, QL.tv bashery. Again, combined with same points above, went into like 15 minutes rant how QL tv crew did not prepare for the event, spinning logo, FALSE facts about having no interviews, and other misinformation mixed with childish slander and swearing.

I couldn't listen anymore and started forwarding. This was not a discussion or a debate, this was an uncontrolled diarrhea of an angry retard... or so it sounded. I did not meet scoots in person. Maybe he's a nice guy after all.

What first impression could I get from listening LO3 after this? Not good. I've listened to djWheat shows since he started casting first ever q3 matches and I told him in person I'm a big fan of his work.
Slasher is ok, as annoying the whole incident with focus is, he's tolerable on radio and stream. He's not stupid, to say the least, and he works hard for our common benefit producing rather great results.

Scoots... maybe it's his role to play some kind of opposition, but Jesus Christ this guy is fucking annoying. Not only he's spewing unstoppable bashing rants for minutes at the time, he simply does not have valid opinions. Opinions can be for/against/raw/detailed/black/white/right/left, but his are simply retarded. Is this intentional role for the show? Is he like a Glen Beck of FOX news who's trolling the whole world with racism and hypocrisy while pocketing millions? I think if this is the case, it's too early for QL casting to have a burden of carrying a character like this. Today, scoots is nothing more than an angry retard..

Watched it live, was decent and while scoots made some valid points, the "rage" was really uncalled for.

prozac was an annoying, obnoxious, attention whoring idiot. Granted there weren't any children in the area(that I saw), however there were women around, and it was just a stupid thing to do. If he wasn't being a raging idiot before hand, he probably wouldn't have gotten thrown out. That was just the icing on the cake.

This is the first time I've been to the same event as Prozac but I have seen him in pictures/interviews/live coverage of events. He always seemed like a fun, energetic guy but a lot of people thought he was on something at Qcon and I was agreeing. He just seemed way out of character, like way over the top.
