Very refreshing flick. I'm still not a raving fan of those high-res textures, (I dunno, just feels strange) but I respect the decision to implement them as they had chosen. I enjoyed the map variety; seeing Sinister, Silence and Battleforged make appearances was a pleasant surprise. Special effects were decent. Some frags were as slick as oil but a few were mediocre, sometimes being typical rocket spam (that clip from Silence near the mega spot at 1:18 comes to mind) with no well-executed tricks. The ending was rather forced imo - I was expecting a fade to help ease out of the video, but then again I don't stick around for credits unless there are extra frags to go along with it. :p

agent has been around for a while tho, too few frags imho

you can argue about the graphics, i personally found the look somewhat refreshing and very decent. just looking at the length of the video i knew i didnt have to expect a movie that puts lots of thought into building up tension with an extraordinary intro or something so i didnt miss that. the frags were very good up until the 1 minute mark, then more and more regular frags came into play with exceptional frags every now and then but overall i enjoyed it quite a lot.

despite the artistic presentation which is subjective, the frag footage was really bad. to begin with these quick fast paced movies rather work only if features constant sick frags (for reference check the cypher video), but as agent not an aim machine or anything it was just boring. theres a lot of frags vs players way below agent level that would only be considered mediocre if made against top players.

a calm, slower video with many 30sec-1min footage with commentary where he runs down the items perfectly (what he known for) to pull the frag or smth would be more fitting. it seems the video maker got like 20 random agent demos (probably many even from prac games?) and this is what he could get out of them.

in my opinion a frag video should always put emphasis on who the player really is, pointing out the style of play and make memorial for their best moments. kinda like a portfolio or a trailer making known as someone interested in quake why you should know agent for. im sorry but this video offer none of this.
