the problem is i can't overclock my mouse to 500hz that's why i'm trying to justify for not using 500hz as I do not really feel any difference between the 125hz and 500z other than the fact that others are telling me 500hz is more superior.
honestly, I wish I could tell the difference in lg and mg but I still have high accuracy percentage in lg and mg using 125hz. I feel distracted when I "think" I need 500hz.
very minor I hope. everyone that I've encountered have said to me "do 500hz and you'll never return to 125hz." and this messes with my head and performance so very much.
yeah but it's all in the mind isn't it? if you can adjust to shooting like a boss with 125hz which I am doing then why do I need to believe I can have better accuracy by switching to higher poll rate?
There's actually huge difference betwen 500 and 125hz. Altho it feels different on different mice. As for me it does really much on wmo, but as for abyssus 125 and 1000hz isn't that big of a deal, no idea why.
IIRC, it's because the WMO, albeit with its well-designed sensor and nearly perfect lift-off height, is among mice which use an older 8-bit data packet (frame?, w/e,) and it therefore is a much larger difference, b/c of actual bandwidth constraints @ 125Hz. These bandwidth troubles are quickly resolved by upping to 250Hz, 500Hz, etc. IIRC, Later mouse designs used 16-bit data widths, or maybe more by now. ;)
for me
i changed the pollint rate in 2010, before that i played 9 years at 125, at first it was almost imperceptible,
but if u use 500 or 1000 hz for a week, and then go back to 125
then u will notice it a lot
and i mean a lot, the mouse feels choppy as fuck
play 1 week with 500 hz ... then change to 125 hz u can definetly feel the difference... happened to me just recently when i was playing i felt like game was off with my mousemovement ... went to check polling rate and bam was 125 cause i unplugged mouse once ... but its not like its a huge handicap .. i guess if u dont know how 500 hz is then u could also play with 125... also i think fast sens u feel it less than if u use low sens since the polling rate effects the maximum speed u can move ur mouse before getting neg accel or the mouse not reacting properly to ur movement
I can feel the input lag pretty bad. I never noticed it switching from 125hz to 1000hz, but after playing with 1000hz for a few years and then switching back, you can definitely feel it.
