Nice movie, the MP actually looks quite good (still 10x worse than q3 though?).

Well it idd is low graphics, caus if you set them on high you can't make a smooth movie (as you already can see sometimes in low quality)

Strafejumping is idd similar to quake3 only a bit slower... and the ledge jumping is similar to cpma only a bit lower..

Well when you recorddemo and play it back it's a tiny bit slow.. but if you timescale like, 1.25 or 1.3 , it seems to play at normal rate.

I tried these at first and it seems to be higher than that.
Also, avidemo doesn't give a shit about your timescale, it uses avidemo_tics or something (cba to check the variable)

well the mp isn't really good (now), maps sucks models suck etc but i think this game can be made very popular online. I thought they are making a mod right now for it.

My only fear about the falling damage is that central room in Edge2...where people will end up being bounced by rockets off the outer platforms and constantly snuffing it on landing in the middle area.

Ive been playing MP on lan for 2 days now and from what i can tell, this game needs osp otherwise the q3 zealots are gonna whine about all the things that were in q3 and arnt in d3.

its a descent game, no where near as skilled as painkiller but due to it being an ID game it will do well and be chosen by the cpl.

infact, dare i say it, it reminds me of UT2k3 and ut2k4. still its doom it will have to do. if this is the next game ill live with it... painkiller is so much better though :P

falldamage needs to be adjusted indeed, like we wanted to show in our movie at the very end... (peeps who did not see it, dont click away @ the endtitels ;P)

aight, well as first "proper" D3 movie this is fairly good.
Some kills where good and the jumps as well. Though the picture quality was under the table, and the compression sucked as well. And please dont slomo with adobe premiere, but record with a higher rate of frames per second (like 60 or so). I hope there will be better movie-making engines in D3. Oh ye, too bad that u only showed so little maps. And even worse: The music! Guano Apes was allright (cool to listen, tho not for a movie :), well I think there has been said enough about linking park rt? Movie Making lesson 1: NEVER , I Mean NEVER use linkin park, there are like SO many good bands with nice fitting music, so DONT use linkin park :) . Good initiative and good result Goirach, good job!

I had about 25 requests from people that needed to know how that song was called cause they thought it was sooo coool and fitted the movie perfectly, so this is your own oppinion (nothin wrong with that), but dont put it out as a fact then...

Wether you slomo with virtual dub or premiere or anything, it will fuck your movie up. Like when 50% speed then ur 30 fps avi will be streched out 2 times, and the result is that each frame from that 30 fps will be shown twice as long, so a 15 fps effect. That is fucked up. Just slow down the demo and record it at 30 fps :)
And about the linkin park, everyone who thinks linkin park is good movie-music is a complete retard. And trust me, I know! and for you tears: you did a good job as well MATEY :D
