dfp forever!

First of all: I want to thank lauwef for making me release this. The original plan was to have a film with three meaningful parts and the clan members’ frags is only one third of what I intended Firebreath to be. This is a frag film not a clan film for now but well… GGL work and my laziness made me reconsider carrying out the original plan for it was an ambitious one.

This film has existed in this shape and form for over a year now – the only additions that I made was smoothing out a couple of transitions here and there and the ones that my friend lauwef will hopefully add. Will I ever try to put the other ideas I had into reality? Maybe some day…

imo we (smiley + me) made some ok movies, but they really lack inspiration, especially the ones i was more involved with ;) smiley himself can do wonders, and i seem to kill people's minds or something :X

This might just be the best fragmovie I've ever seen. REALLY nice work, perfect lenght, music and frags. Not that annoying focus on player names instead of frags. Fantastic movie.

On the whole I thought this frag vid was very good:

-Repetitive
However with me saying it was a bit repetitive, I did like it when it went to alternate camera angles on the Head Shot and the Ripper Half way through. However a few effects wouldn't of gone amiss.
On the whole I would say this is well worth a watch as it is very good.

the write-up for this is pretty dreadful and makes me NOT want to dl it.

It wasn't major when it was posted.

The movie was quit nice. Nice frags. I was surprised that the song worked that well. I didn't think it would fit a frag movie. It was kinda xsu-gold style. Camerawork was nice. I didn't like that you could constanly see the weapon. It's a bit anoying, dunno why, maybe because I don't play with it anymore. But maybe it's good so that non ut99 players can understand the movie too ;). It could have also used a little more editing, so you would have a beginning and a end :D. All with all quit a nice movie.

Nice movie, well edited and synched and I really enjoyed the alternate shot angles.

Good job Carmac.

to sum this movie up: sync, sync, behindview 1,sync, flow, sync, pase, sync,behindview 1, flow, more sync,flow ...

Its solid entertainment but some more styles to the above list can of course result in far more perfect vids.
But the most important things is to make a movie entertaining and Carmac is a guy who knows how to do that.
But to be a really great vid it lacks additional editing for which Carmac didnt had the time. But i would agree on that its already good enough to release it cause the base(entertaining flow) is there.

this is more like a collection of nice frags then a complete movie.
I think the author of this post really overhyped it to madness.
