Also the ESL is offering a few ESL TV Premium keys for community websites such as ours and 5 ESR users will be able to win one of these. We won't run any trivia or raffle, but instead we will hand the codes to the 5 people who will get the most [+] with a single comment in this post.
Captioned pictures, captions from our galleries (post the link), wall papers or even pictures of the ESR logo in some interesting places, are all welcome as long as the main theme remains competitive gaming (Quakelive or even SC2 if you dare). The main rule is to be CREATIVE, because reposts are boring.
The deadline is set for Friday midnight (CEST)! The keys will be given as soon as I sober up on Saturday.
Update: Since the thread wasn't really popular, we'll award 1 user from this post (gratz .syL) and 4 from the "a lot more active" QuakeCon 2010 post!
The IEM5 Global Challenge Gamescom held in Cologne from the 18th to 22nd of August will see two Quakelive players qualified through an online tournament.
The first map is randomly chosen by the ESL and it is the following for each round:
Round 1: Furious Height
Round 2: Lost World
Round 3: House of Decay
Round 4: Campgrounds
Round 5: Blood Run
Semi-Final: Lost World
Final: Furious Height
The second map is picked by the loser of the first map, and the third map is picked (if needed), by the loser of the second map.
Only the following maps may be picked: House of Decay, Blood Run, Campgrounds, Furious Heights, Lost World (See this article if you feel lost with map names)
So Quakelive is out of beta, and now the filenames of the maps are made from the actual name of the map instead of an incremental system. This means names such as dm6, t4, ztn or hub won't be of any help when it comes to vote a map on a server.
After 10 years of using the same old names for each map, it's hard to adapt and so I decided to make a listing of the Quakelive maps with their levelshot. That should make things a bit easier. You can find a ZIP file with all the images attached.
Attached Misc File: 85323-levelshots.7z (18 Dec 2011, 16979KB, 828 downloads)
Scheduled: 18:00 CDT, 6 August 2010 to 22:00 CDT, 7 August 2010 Schedule: Passed
Update: Final standings:

2. Tim "DaHanG" Fogarty - $500 + Qualified for AC Playoff

I guess I won't be able to reach all the people who would like to stream the Quakelive ESWC matches. So I'm leaving a message on ESR as well.
If you wish to stream the Quakelive ESWC matches (played on private internet servers), I was told you should contact Stιphane Cosse about it: stephane[a}eswc{.]com
Don't forget to make a proper and clean email, and make sure you clearly present yourself. That should help.

Thanks to 4Seasons Gaming and ArchaicMSI, Oceania will be sending it's first sponsored QuakeLive player overseas to Quakecon this year in August. Instead of just choosing a player to send over, we have turned the opportunity into a "draft" or "qualifier" to determine once and for all who is the real 2010 Oceanic QuakeLive Dueling Champion.
Firstly planned to be played at a LAN event, the Polish ESWC Qualifier also suffered from the dramatic floods in Poland and will simply be played online.
