Okay I'll try to explain what I wanted to express in every image:

1st image): I wanted to make clear that people buying Reflex is a must in order to keep the developement of the game. The likelihood of a new player sticking with the game is increased if its recommend by a friend (assuming he'll teach him the game* and play together**).

*a new player cannot even know what are the capabilities of Reflex movement (because its not explained anywhere within the game). You have to look for aid out side of the game and most players cba to do that for a game that "doesnt even have weapon skins".

**most people have a better experience when they share a hobby with their friends even when the activity in question is not "the shit".

2nd image): Starts with the premise that the "lockhud" command newborn said it's something that is going to happen and its not just something he said in order to keep the haters quiet for a while. While I think that is a really bad decision that should be discussed elsewhere.
This img is a mockery of those who think that dont following the traditional Q3A/QL gameplay is a blasphemy (I genuinely hope newborn is not one of those). Then I talk only about the arithmetic part of timing, the sum of 25/35 to be more precise and how anti-fun and old concept it is.

3rd image):Old Reflex concept ship sinking, I forgot to add other games drown in the sea like QL, warsow, etc.
4th image): 2GD happy seeing that one competitor is out of the table and aware that going with the old gameplay style is a waste. If you follow diabotical developement I think it was the last stream when he talked about "noobing" the movement with the "dash" thing. I DONT LIKE this, but I know that to get a game into the mainstream you have to simplify things.

that map definitely helped me to teach two of my friends the basics of the movement specially what kind of things you can or cant do. Because a new player coming to this game has literally NO IDEA where the limits are.

I remember the "tutorial" part about movement from the kickstarter trailer https://youtu.be/XQaN3h-S4Wo?t=125 and key presses are cool and stuff but I feel like as I said at tldr section the tutorials and the way they explain it must be almost as good as the game itself.
Of course what they showed is on a very early stage and maybe its just what they thought how the really basics of a tutorial must be about.
As a future psychologist is one of the things Im most interested about, how are they going to be able to make the learning of a though game like this enjoyable. I would not discard giving some candy at the end of each tutorial, people love that kind of things. Maybe to give the feel of achievement.

UT2k3/4 had splash screens between map loads that explained the basics of movement and weapons.. Hints tips and tricks. It's simple but effective.

50% of a duel is timing. Therefore duel is dead if you remove the timing factor. Reflex is dead. So is Reborn, the gimmickfest FPS.
With Reflex, you get annoyances like no force enemy skins and colors instead you get the retarded outline, and they kill duel via timers, but the rest is stil the good old solid gameplay (it's still stupid to play this when you have CPM for free, who the fuck cares if there aren't any players, just play with your friends).
Then with Reborn, the go full retard and they'll wrap up a package of gimmicks. All in hopes to get muh mainstream tards into this, when we all know we'll always be a small elitist community.

No, everything I say stands. Sure, QL is shit compared to CPMA, but guess what, ultimately is stil the same fucking game, with annoyances such as no custom maps, servers, etc, but in return you get matchmaking, you get more players.

With Reflex, you get nothing in return that you already got with QL. You only get negatives: shitty flawed duel due timers, shitty experience due having to aim outlines instead of actual models, etc.

Nah bruh. 50% of a match being timing includes the fact timing has an impact on positioning, strategy, tactics, etc. It's not mutually exlusive. Strategy, tactics, positioning ARE timing. Your strategy, tactics, positioning, weapon of choice... everything is infuenced by your current held items (health and armor) and availible items to pickup, and your relative position to said items (simple classic example: you are going to be using RG in ztn if RA is up, set a trap switching to LG when RA is about to go up...). Everything is interconnected. Items and how you play with them are half a duel, this cannot be stupidly reduced to "mega spawns at 32, red spawns at 49". This is why objectively speaking, CPM simplified this alot in favour of run-and-shoot YOLO gameplay. Reflex YOLO'd even harder with GUI showing item pickups.

I like the logic where timing having an impact on something else makes that very impact automatically the best and most perfect possible one. And the logic where more info(reflex item timers) AND less info(cpm without seconds) is always simplified and "more YOLO" than your oh-so-perfect q3. Im watching the PHGP stream and i've noticed the plasma has been fixed, and it has the doom2 plasyasound layered with other sound on top, it's pretty sweet. I also spoted the Q3 hitsound. I was positively surprised with that.
