As the UT2004 LAN in Dundee, Scotland draws near, I have been collecting some information from the confirmed players to put together this coverage article. On the pages below you will find some information about the players themselves along with their personal predictions!

Unfortunately not. :(

There will however be VODs and galleries and so on afterwards. This is all I can really do as there is practically no internet connection there, just a poor wi-fi setup. Because of this, most of the coverage and updates will be after the event itself, however, if it is at all possible to run UTV and/or an audio stream then I will get it organised. :)

when i started ql i used 2.5cm/360, with old old hitbox i would hit 40% shaft easily.
now im on 4.5sens 450dpi, 0.018myaw/ pitch and 0.2 accel

Other scenes can take an example from this. Players themself searching for sponsorship and putting in hours&hours to set up a tournament for their (shit, dead) game instead of whining about never having enough tournaments. Glhf to all, make sure to put Thibault drunk on a plane again 8)

Alright, well this eswc semifinals (on lea not ironic) was very low scoring but still very entertaining as it was very well shoutcasted.
And I never agreed with the "more frags more fun" concept in a game. It was a very interesting game.

Enjoy China, good place to find a girl coming from europe I heard :)

PS: I think theres another 0-0 game aswell with lauke involved. On ironic but I can't recall if it's part of the same game. I'll dig into this soon.

so true. that goes out to all ql whine cunts on here. theyve been havin competitions for years now and still aint enough and the game is half dead. ut never had even 10% of those tournies and yet people still play it and the scene is active. open cups are played and u rarely see any whine.
it all comes down to how much you like the game and not what comes with it.

So true, kinda thought the same. I really respect the effort the leftovers put in a dead fastpaced fps. Never liked ut2k4 tho. :(

Still love this game. Wish nwCTF had a competive resurgence, but with the lack of quality map-making, it is hard to expect that would ever happen...maybe in UT4.
