Aguero
this brazilian squad is one of the best we ever had
imba red card against portugal. seeing how mueller dived that was yellow at best.I think that the red card was for commiting a (weak) headbutt onto a sitting opponent while in plain sight of the referee. If so, the fact that Müller may have oversold the initial hand to his face has nothing to do with the card.
seeing how neymar got only a yellow for deliberate elbow in the jaw, should be also only yellow at best.Any referee decision from the BRA-CRO game should not serve as reference for anything imo. The referee was so obviously favoring Brazil that you can't reasonably judge the ruling of other referees against it.
also, the penalty for 1-0 seemed to be a dive.Meh, hard to judge. There was a fair amount of pulling on Götze's arm, so I think that the penalty is a decent decision.
at least by the criteria shown by the ref when he refused to give one for portugal as well. That's a mistake by the referee, but at this point in the match, it didn't matter anymore.
greece isnt awesome this time round
FIFA, soccer’s world governing body, said yesterday that Zinédine Zidane, the French star who head-butted an opponent in the closing minutes of the World Cup final, would be suspended for three games and fined 7,500 Swiss francs (about $6,000).Source.
I want a fully clean sport or a fully dirty one, what i dont want is cherrypicking according to the importance that fifa gives to the country the player comes from.Yes, because we can't prevent/punish all injustice we shouldn't bother to prevent/punish any injustice. Some solid reasoning.
THIS HAS FUCK ALL TO DO WITH URUGUAY YOU STUPID FUCKING DIPSHIT
The ban is the biggest in World Cup history, beating the eight games given to Italy's Mauro Tassotti for elbowing Spain's Luis Enrique in 1994.
We coped with 200.000 brazilians on 1950, but what can you do vs fat fishes that decide on their desks the destiny of the people that really make football, the players.
Uruguay appeared to be mentally crippled more than anything else.
It's not the goalkeepers' fault, it's the whole team, the coach and his strategies.I don’t agree…
they executed pretty well.
