Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

#QLDrafts Sunday CTF Cup #1 (16 comments)
Posted by esdf @ 09:35 CDT, 10 June 2015 - iMsg
Update: Due to a lot of people PM-ing me on irc, the picking starts at 17:00 CEST and games start as soon as picking is over.

Now that the league has finished it is time yet again for some CTF action. This time around it's a one day cup instead of a month long league.

The signups are already open and you can register yourself for the cup until Sunday, 14th @ 16:00 CEST. It is also mandatory to idle in #qldrafts channel on QuakeNet. Whoever's not there when picking starts (16:00 CEST) will be removed from the cup.

Another important thing to mention is that if there is not at least 32 signups (8 teams) the cup will be canceled.

Plus Forward launched (105 comments)

After a lot of work Austria noctis is proud to finally present PlusForward.net, a community driven website designed to help cover all things related to competitive Arena FPS.

As a project, Plus Forward started about 2 years ago on a much smaller scale out of the desire to create a coverage platform for QuakeLive TDM. With the cancellation of the second Prague LAN and the general trend of inactivity in clan based QL TDM it was decided to expand the scope of the site to also include other games, and modes, whilst continuing to add more and more features.

As is expected from a news website Plus Forward provides various post types, and categories to help structure the content contributed by users and admins. The different post types can be found in Site Guide along with a lot of other information about the site and its usage.

ProjectRIK is a free to play trickjumping game similar to Quake 3 DeFRaG with updated graphics, rankings, in-game tutorials, and additional movement techniques such as surfing, wall jumping, sloperunning, and crouch sliding.

A new gametype planned soon called "Circuit" will have Mario Kart style lap racing with powerups such as speed boosts, weapons, or negative effects to handicap other racers. Other modes such as CTF, tag, and team racing are planned for future updates.

The Quake-RTS Project (80 comments)
Posted by Memento_Mori @ 12:49 CDT, 30 May 2015 - iMsg
A few months ago, Portugal Ins and I started a little project, and while it's far from finished, I think it's at a point where we can show it to the community.

The goal of the project is to explore game design, and in particular try to create a real time strategy game that presents the decision making proper of Quake duel, while abstracting everything that has to do with execution mechanics. We see as ultimate ambition the creation a game where people can explore and understand the meta game of dueling, with concept such as map control, weapon selection, and aggressive/defensive play as explicit elements. Whether we can reach that or not, is up in the air, but we are happy to learn trying to get there.

Why do we share this now? Mainly because we would like to receive feedback on what is there, and collect ideas about how the combat should work. We have some ideas already, but it's good to see things from different angles, even if we end up with a particular design that not necessarily please everyone.
