Analysis:
Mesta: It seems like it’s a draft team but most of these players are veterans and are very good players. I don’t know about their preparation but their individual skill is certainly there.
xero: Another interesting mix team that have the skills to go far, but not necessarily the preparation. All of them are experienced players and but I would be worried about the lack of team experience as Mesta pointed, it does help that managed to nab syL_, an exellent old school German TDM player. I would imagine that afgh4n will the star of this team, expect him to spear attacks and carry powerups. neverGreen and sbs are both competent active players who’s performance - and how that matter’s for the team - will depend on afgh4n breaking through defenses. fragmaster_ is a bit of a darkhorse, he is an oldschool player, but I’m not sure if he will be up to par. I hope to be surprised!
myT: All players are (or were, at some point) good veteran players, but I don’t remember ever seeing them play together. I’ve only seen sbs and afgh4n play TDM recently, and neverGreen plays very sporadically.
Prediction:
Mesta: Not sure, in the middle.
xero: All parts are there, but will they put it together? I’m uncertain right now, anywhere from 7-12.
myT: Although the talent and experience is there, the lack of activity will show. 6-12
ShadyAK: good team, and with an abundance of CPM experience, going to early-to-mid 2000s. Unfortunately, a lot of other teams in the tournament have the same attributes, so they will face a lot of challenges. If I predicted CA to be near that last qualifying spot, I'd predict Teamless finishing a couple of (2-3) places above them in the regular season.
