Mesta: Another powerhouse team with lots of experienced veterans. Except for butcher. they’ve all been around for a long time and aren’t shy of any skill display. With proper training, they will be a very strong team.
xero:I like Mesta’s zen oriented approach to this whole thing. Honestly, I do not expect this team to do well, mainly, because I don’t think they want to spend the time. As Mesta said, the level of skill here is quite high, walter, a partially notorious figure in VQ3/QL scene, can go frag for frag with the best of them. Expect him to do the bulk of the work, if he cannot take charge of the game, the team will be in trouble, even though aXema butcher and stv_ are good players, conditioning is an issue, and they are at best, role players. Without a big gun to catapult their team I think they will have a great deal of trouble and will need to rely on their experience, I expect maps like cpm4a or ospdm5a where this team could steal some points, and potentially upset some teams. What helps this team is that at they (excluding butcher) have spent some time playing with each other, so that will give them an immediate advantage over teams that are newly forming.
Prediction:
Mesta: definitely top 8. Lower if rage shows up.
xero: I think I'm going to go the opposite way, I think this team will be 8-12. Potentially falling lower.
ShadyAK: WALTER IS AN O.G. yo, and has the highest "skill-to-penchant for drama" ratio out of any quakers, post-2009. Team will do good, but will they do gr9? ))
