Analysis:
Mesta: A bit biased as it is my team. However, the experience in the team is great and we are all veteran players. I believe that entik and I have been around for more than ten years on quake 3. Entik is not only an awesome video director but he’s also a very strong player with good aim, team play and a love for TDM. Me(sta) and wonko have played together for years now either in QL or CPM, CTF and TDM. We’re like ovo and ahxnxa but very much less awesome. Bgs is one of the most popular guy in the CPM scene. He has insane movements, insane aim and a great overall player. TiDaN is very well known for his flag skills in CTF and will serve as a sub if needed. His aim and experience are not to be shadowed. With great communication and with no rusty (that could very much happen), we can do well in the tournament. All 5 of us are pretty much casual players nowadays (meaning nonexistent for bgs, entik and tidan) except for wonko on QL. Clanwars and official games don’t scare us and we are looking forward playing some very nice and gun games, especially against teams with cpm legends. A very exciting tournament!
xero: Baby paramedics! Mesta with fromage, wonko with the curry, bgs going full retard, what can go wrong? All joking aside this is a highly skilled team who can win against any team with the right preparation. Although they are better known for their CTF skills, all of them have strong fragging ability, I mean w0nk0 didn’t think his way into third place @QCON CTF last year. What will really determine how well they do is how effective their semi-active players; bgs, TiDaN and entik, can be. The first two, when in form, can deliver huge amounts of damage to the opposite team, however,look for Mesta and wonko be lead the attacks, helping their team secure important resources on map, in hopes of giving enough space for their high level fraggers to obliterate everything that moves.
Prediction
Mesta: I believe we can compete against the best teams, provided they have high ping for Euros. :P I believe that ru8 and DA might rape us hard. Will be very tight in the NA teams to determine the best one but these games will for sure be very entertaining! (and full of rage). Top 8, ranging from 2 to 8 if the stars are aligned or not.
xero: Extremely tough to say, but, if bgs and TiDaN can get up to form and wonko can keep his cool then II do not think a top 4 finish is out of question, but I think 5-8 is more realistic.
ShadyAK: I'd say they are the Best North American team by far*, and their collective experience and teamwork can surprise against any team, as playing CPM on euro servers is nothing new on unusual for them. I knew wonko since, like, 2006 and now he's got giant cheques from Quakecon and shit to prove how badass he is. $
* nb: retard statement was made before seeing the line-up to team red. They're both worth a lot and should red and heffalumps play each other, it can be considered a derby of turbohigh-skilled NA teams.
