Analysis:
Mesta: A team of relatively new players (meaning from 0 to 5 years exp.). Their experience in TDM might be low but they’ve tried in the past few weeks to raise their TDM level by playing a lot of pickup games. Might help a bit.
xero: Individually, the skill level are adequate enough, that if they had enough teamplay, they could do well. KOOLKEITH is a veteran player, and should be able to provide experience and leadership. The other players; dsN, Hehateme and wutangswords are not slouches when it comes to the aiming department, and their movement is good enough to play against better competition. The server advantage should play in their favour, and they may win some maps, against stronger European opposition. What maps do you think KN will have a better time on Mesta?
Mesta: The ones they always play in the pickup games, cpm18 and cpm21, but not quite sure.
xero: Yeah, I would think maps with the railgun, or maps where sheer aim can overpower the opposition, will help them against European teams. Uncertain how they will do against better North American aimers.
wonko: Apart from KOOLKEITH, and perhaps vez, I have not seen any of them play any clan games, so it will be a steep learning curve. They need to play scrims!
Prediction:
wonko: Uncertain.
Mesta: KN have good skills on paper but might have issues against the other American teams. I would see them take a few maps versus lower European teams.
xero: I think that KN have the individual skill set to make the play offs, however, only on the condition that they can be active enough and build up their TDM knowledge and team play.
ShadyAK: Top14 ez. Some of those gentlemen are fairly new in promode, right? I've played a few late-night uscpmpickups in the past few months, and I don't recall any of the names on the list suprising and raping, and the rate of EGDs was kind of in my favour. And I'm 1) shit 2) need to be turbo-intoxicated to be talked into playing a us cpm pickup c:
