The (in)famous Quad Damage tournament is back! Uniting Quake players from every title, the Quad Damage will span four games across four weeks: QuakeWorld, Quake II, Quake Live, and Quake IV. To keep the focus on game differences rather than map knowledge, we'll be showcasing the tried and true Aerowalk in each game. Playing in any week will net you points - playing in multiple games will net you bonus points!

ADDITION: There is now a $150 prize pool for players who manage to get Top3 in ALL FOUR GAMES. This is a *separate* prize pool on top of the merchandise prizing for each individual cup. The potential splits are as follows:

A slightly late christmas gift, but here it finally is. What could have been a nice prequel to the overrated spacectf series, got instead infected by CA and duel gametypes, and therefor I just simply call this movie creep, starring once again me, Sweden creep.

For this movie I have under a longer time worked on a HQ weapon texture set, and combined with custom map textures by Croatia NastyTime, the atmosphere in this movie gets a fresh and uniqe look. Mixed with the best frags and runs in my demo-folder and edited with rap-rock music, it got the fast pace feel I'm mostly going for in my edits.

I trully hope you will enjoy this one more than I enjoyed making it!

Speedrunning is a community that is getting bigger and bigger every year. Speedrunning means completing a game as fast as possible without cheating, you may use glitches inside the game but no cheat codes. There are over 1000 speedruns over at Speed Demos Archive and probably more that haven't been submitted yet.
The guys over at SDA got two events every year where they gather people from all over the world for about 6-7 days and play video games. These are called AGDQ, SGDQ, Awesome Games Done Quick and Summer Games Done Quick.

Last year at AGDQ 2014 they managed to raise $1,031,189.00 for the Prevent Cancer Foundation and Summer Games Done Quick managed to raise $718,155.07 for Doctors Without Borders. Letting people know about these events could help the cause and - the more people that join the speedrunning community the better.

The first N.A. Duel Cup of 2015 is here! The first four events were well received, and community support has been awesome. The internet has come a long way but due to ping restrictions most players from North America still cannot compete in the main QuakeLive events such as the 125 FPS League. The N.A. DuelCup fills a small yet vital role in providing players from this region a stage to compete on. If you missed any of the events or would like to relive them the VODs are available.

Hey guys. I've always wanted to make a fragmovie, so I actually made one. I present King of Fire, with frags by myself from the last few months. The first half is TDM, the second half is Duel and a bit of CA. I didn't have a lot of material to work with (or any previous video-editing experience for that matter), but it turned out almost exactly how I envisioned it and I'm really satisfied with the results.

Thanks to DDK for streaming it earlier and Maverick for the hosting!

Feedback is welcome, although somewhat futile, as I do not intend to make another movie. Movie-making is exciting and feels very rewarding, however it is also an incredibly demanding, exhausting and time-consuming experience. It also uses up an insane amount of HD space.

Right after the success of the Moscow Quake LAN Party #19, which took a place in August and gathered over 40 players, the MQLP series is back to being twice a year. This anniversary LAN however was decided to be held in an unusual format. For the first time in its history, it's gonna be a no duels team-modes only LAN.

Moreover, to raise the fun and competition level, it was decided to make it a draft tournament. Chosen captains are going to pick players and play six official 4x4 disciplines being CA, CTF, TDM, FT, Dom and A&D. Event will happen in the same place as the last time: The CyberSport Laboratory in Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism .

It is winter so its time for the ql Quake Live TDM 4v4 Winter Season. The sign-ups are open from Sunday 14th December until 7th of January 2015.

League start will be Wednesday 14th of January, duration depends on the sign-ups (1 match per week). Division 1 plays Wednesday, Division 2/3 Thursday at 21:00 CET.

Check below for all needed informations and sign-up! If you already have player and clan account on House of Quake, feel free to sign-up right away. Otherwise make sure to register yourselves and your clan first.
